“That’s good.” He turns to Chrys, “Do you have anything older here?”

He laughs softly, “I have a tree whos just about as old as I.”

“I wanna see it.” He murmurs, smiling softly.

Chrys seems to brighten up at this. He takes Rodya to a large weeping willow tree. “I love to rest under here…just listen to nature and read or write…”

Rodya smiles, “moving towards the tree, “It’s beautiful. . . We cont have any of there at home. . .”

Chrys hums, “hm…”

Rodya looks at the tree, “I’ve really only seen them in pictures and there’s one in the kings garden, but it’s still so young, so you cant really sit under it.”

Chrys smiles, walking over to the tree and pushing back the vine-like branches, exposing a tent like space that glowed a light green.

Rodya watches him, quiet for a moment before slowly following him.

Chrys hums softly, sitting near the trunk of the tree and leaning back. He slowly closes his eyes, relaxing.

Rodya watches him for a moment, relaxing slightly, and then sits down cross legged, next to him, but a healthy distance away.

Chrys sighs contently, a soft smile on his lips. “Hm…when I was still alive, I used to sleep under here…”

Rodya laughs softly, “Must have been nice. . .” He murmurs.

He nods, “It was…I can still somewhat sleep…but i have no need for it…and it’s mainly just meditation…”

“Why do we keep talking about sad things?” He mutters.

Chrys blinks, “oh- I’m sorry…”

Rodya laughs, “It’s fine. . . If it’s what you wanna talk about. . .”

Chrys shakes his head, “I don’t want to make you uncomfortable…”

Rodya looks at him, smiling softly, “There’s not much that makes me uncomfortable. . .”

He huffs, “Still.”

Rodya huffs and then moves in front of Chryses, looking at him.

Chrys looks at him, tilting his head.

Rodya just looks at him.

Chrys blinks. “Um- did I say something wrong?” He looks around, then looks back to him.

Rodya shakes his head, still looking at him, his green eyes soft.

Chrys looked confused. “Uh-“ He fidgets with his coat.

He blinks and then looks away, clearing his throat, “Um. . . Well. . . What was your family like?”

Chrys looks at him, “Um…well they were very nice…my sisters were adorable…and my baby brother…the sweetest little thing…” he smiles fondly, “My mother was so beautiful…and my father was a very handsome man…”

Rodya nods, smiling softly.

Chrys chuckles, “My little sisters would have loved you. Hell, my whole family would have loved you. My little brother would have immediately wanted to play with you…”
