"Okay then…? Also, what do you mean by you didn't want to notice me before?" Yesim asked, opening her locker and putting away her stuff. Her locker wasn't decorated that much, she only had a few photos, a pencil cup, and a mirror.
Cliche O/O (Open)
"You're not my type. Why would I notice you? I couldn't give a shit about what you did. Now I'm conveniently your partner so I have to notice you. And I've noticed that you get bullied and you don't have a backbone. Which you should really work on by the way. If you're intimidating, they'll leave you alone. Take it from me."
"Of course, not a lot of people notice me. I'm not smart, or pretty, or unique, I'm just that one girl who's in the background," Yesim said sarcastically with a slight laugh, quickly putting some folders and her sketchbook in her backpack before taking it out of her locker and slinging it over one shoulder, closing the locker shut and heading towards the main doors.
Ajax frowned. He took a step and grabbed her arm, pulling her back to him. "I never said that. I just said you're not my type. You're a very attractive woman, though your name is a bit of a turnoff. What kind of is Yesim anyways? It sounds like yes ma'am but faster."
Yesim yelped in surprise when Ajax grabbed her arm, her face turning pink. "Oh-um-thank you…? Also, I didn't get to pick my name, but I do know it means jade."
Ajax smirked when he saw her cheeks tinged pink. "Then your parents should have named you Jade then. So much easier." He hummed. "That's what I'm calling you from now on. Yesim is too much. You're jade now."
"Okay then…? I don't really care what you call me." Yesim replied. "Also, can you let go of me now?"
Ajax released her arm. "You never did tell me how you were doing. Are you alright? No one messing with you?"
"Yes, I'm alright. No one is bothering me." Yesim quickly said with a slight laugh. "Can I go to my house now?"
Ajax nodded. "Yeah, sure. I'll see you tomorrow." He gave a jerk of the head as a goodbye and walked towardas the exit
"See you tomorrow." Yesim replied, glancing at the clock and realizing she was already late. She speed-walked out of the school then started sprinting towards her house, hoping his dad wasn't awake yet.
Ajax buckled his helmet on before mounting his bike. He turned on his motorcycle and sped out of the parking lot. His bed was calling his name. And that's exactly he did when he got home. He passed out on his bed.
Yesim quietly opened the door, crossing her fingers and hoping her father was asleep. She tensed and shyly walked in as her father stared at her, he stinked of booze and was all over the couch. He's always here. "I-I'm sorry, I can explain. First, this teacher wanted to talk to me about a project then a guy held me up for a few minutes." She quickly lied, well half-lie.
Ajax didn't wake up until far into the night. Once he awoke, he found he couldn't go back to sleep. So he carefully climbed up to the roof to star gaze and await the rising sun.
Her father got up and walked over to Yesim, a broken beer bottle in his hand. Yesim tried backing away but she was already up against a wall. Her father grabbed her collar and pushed her to the wall. "I told you not to be late, and what do you do? You come home late. Do you think I'm just going to let you waltz in here? School ended 10 minutes ago." He yelled at her, shoving her to the side of the wall.
(Oh damn)
Ajax rubbed his eyes, wincing as he caused his eye to throb once more. Shit, he had forgotten to ice it before he had fallen asleep. He was surprised he could even see out of his eye, even if he could barely see. He rested his head on his forearm, his free hand resting his stomach.
Yesim laid on the ground while covering her head, quietly whimpering as she waited for another blow. Richard hadn't planned on using the bottle yet so he kicked her hard in the stomach, the only place Yesim wasn't covering.
Ajax closed his eyes, enjoying the way the nightly breeze felt against his skin, cooling him down. He embraced it, sighing quietly to himself.
Yesim didn't say anything and stayed quiet, her making noises usually made it worse for her. "Hey, get up." Richard ordered, Yesim quickly obliged and stood up, waiting for another blow again. He grabbed her throat and pushed her up against the wall, holding the broken beer bottle tightly in his hand. "If you come late again, It's going to get worse? Understand?" Yesim quickly nodded, letting Richard hit her hard in the head with the beer bottle. She quickly stumbled up the stairs, wincing in pain as she hoped there weren't any bruises or cuts on her face.
Come morning, he climbed down off the roof and popped back in his room. He showered, taking his time, and letting the hot water soothe his aching muscles. He dressed for the day before walking to the kitchen to grab a bite to eat before school.
Yesim groggily woke up, rubbing her eyes as she looked around. She had fallen asleep after she had finished her homework, she lazily got up and put on a long-sleeved shirt and some black pants before heading downstairs. Richard was probably passed out on the couch. Yesim sighed in relief when he was indeed passed out on the couch and headed out the door with her backpack slung over her shoulder, she usually got breakfast at some random place if she had enough money but she usually didn't eat anything for breakfast.
Ajax climbed onto his motorcycle and drove to school. His mother had already left for work so he hadn't gotten to say goodbye. He felt guilty that she worked so much. He tried to help the best he could, without her knowing where the money came from, but it only did so much and she only accepted so much.
Yesim quietly walked to the school while texting with her friends, they didn't know about Richard and they thought she lived by herself. Anyone awake yet?
Ajax parked his motorcycle qa ne unclipped his helmet. He walked into the school.
Yesim was surprised when Mikhail replied. Mikhail: Who on earth wakes up this early? Also, fuck you since you woke me up. She chuckled and quickly replied before turning her phone off and walking into the school.
(Bump…?)
Ajax walked into his first class, English. He sat down in usual seat at the back of the class and pulled out his phone. He plugged in his ear phone and started to listen to music.
Yesim quietly walked into her first class, English. She sat down in a corner in the back row then took out her sketchbook and a pencil. She started sketching a rose, resting her head in her other hand while humming a random song she knew.
Ajax looked over at her. He crumbled up a ball of paper and threw it at her, effectively bouncing off of her head. He fist pumped the air, having hit his target. Let's just say is aim wasn't always the best.
Yesim looked up when she felt something hit her head, looking in the general direction of where the paper ball had been thrown from. She looked a bit surprised when she saw Ajax and quickly looked away, trying her best not to pay attention to him.
