Ajax frowned when she ignored him. He wadded up another piece of paper and threw at her again, missing her head but at least hitting her side. Hopefully, she felt that and actually noticed him.
Cliche O/O (Open)
Yesim looked up again, looking annoyed. "Do you need anything?" She asked, glaring at him. She didn't know why Ajax kept hitting her with paper balls and she didn't want to be bothered.
Ajax raised an eyebrow at her attitude. "What's got your panties in a twist?" He asked. He set his phone down. "Just wanted to make sure you were doing alright."
Yesim rolled her eyes. "I just don't want to be annoyed today, that's all. Also, if you wanted to see if I was doing alright, you don't need to hit me with paper balls because you're too lazy to get up." She replied, she was usually very grumpy in the morning and her friends considered it 'cute,' she still didn't know why.
"But I was too lazy to get up. And this is much more fun. It also effectively irritates you which is a plus.." Ajax moved his hair out of his eye, which was purple and almost completely swollen shut.
"Oh shut up." Yesim grumbled, noticing Ajax's eye had gotten worse. "Do you want me to give you an ice-pack for your eye? It looks pretty bad and you said you wouldn't skip school."
Ajax shrugged his shoulders. "I'm fine. I've had worse. It'll go down in a few days." He said as if it was a mere bruise on his arm he'd gotten from running into something.
"Are you sure?" Yesim asked worriedly, glancing at his swollen eye every so often.
"I'm sure, you don't need to worry." He really did want the ice pack, but he would deal with it. He told himself he would be fine.
Yesim didn't say anything but she knew he was lying, she was planning on leaving an ice pack in his locker. "Okay then." She went back to drawing, resting her head in her hand again and humming a song she knew.
Ajax waited a few minutes before throwing another crumpled paper at her. He was bored and wanted attention, in any way he could get it.
Yesim glanced at Ajax again, looking even more annoyed. "I swear to god if you throw another paper ball, I will end you." She threatened. I just don't want to not talk to people for a while, is there something wrong with that?
Ajax smirked. He always loved a challenge. "I'd like to see you try." He looked her dead in the eye as he slowly crumpled another piece of paper and tossed it at her.
Yesim caught this one since she was saw him throw it and threw it back, hitting him square in the head. She had learned how to aim pretty well even though she had joined any sports teams. "Oh really?"
Ajax scowled as it hit him. "Hey, watch the face. I'm injured remember." He picked up the paper, throwing it back at her. He stuck his tongue out at her.
"I know, and I couldn't care less about it." Yesim dodged the paper ball and tore off a bit of paper from her planner before balling it up and throwing it at Ajax, also sticking out her tongue at him.
Ajax managed to catch the paper ball this time. "You're a cruel woman." He teased, throwing it back at her. Only it didn't exactly go in her direction. It hit the teacher just as she was walking in.
Yesim quietly stared in horror when the paper ball hit Ajax, normally teachers wouldn't have cared that much but Mrs. Baker was very strict. I'm never going to see the end of this. She thought as she straightened up her posture for no reason.
Ajax covered his mouth in an attempt to contain his manly giggles. It was a poor attempt though. The look on the teacher's face was absolutely hilarious.
Yesim glared at him when he started giggling but smiled at Mrs. Baker. "G-Good morning, Mrs. Baker."
Ajax couldn't help but laugh, at the teacher and Yesim. He was in a little fit of giggles as if he was five again watching the most hilarious Disney Jr. show there was, whatever that may be.
Yesim kept glaring at him every so often, wondering when Mr.s Baker was going to burst and yell at them. Was she going to give them detention? If she did, this would be Yesim's first detention.
Mrs. Baker turned her glare on Ajax. "That's detention, Mr. Patterson." He just shrugged, laughing away. Detention didn't bother him, his record was already tainted. another one wasn't going to make much of a difference. "You too, Mrs. Seawood, don't think I didn't notice your involvement in this." Ajax looked at her incredulously. "You're last name is Seawood? Do your parents hate you?"
Yesim ignored Ajax and nodded. "Okay then. When is it?" She asked, nervously fiddling with her fingers. She seriously wanted to kill him now. This was her first detention, and it was with him.
"After school. I'll expect you here at 4 pm, not a minute late." Mrs. Baker said before moving onto the lesson for the day. Ajax just leaned back in his chair unbothered.
"Wait! Can it be during school timing?" Yesim asked, not wanting to get beaten up even more today. Especially when she had Gym tomorrow.
"No Mrs. Seawood. And if you speak without raising your hand again I'll see you in detention tomorrow as well." Mrs. Baker said. Ajax was snickering to himself.
Yesim cursed under her breath, glaring at her sketchbook. Way to go, Yesim. This is all your fault. You do deserve to get beaten now.
Ajax smirked and got on his phone for the rest of the class. After the bell rang, he grabbed his backpack off the floor and shouldered it, walked out of the class.
Yesim sighed and drew in her sketchbook the whole time, still mad at herself. She immediately grabbed her things when the bell rand and headed out the door to her locker.
