Glenn smiled at his phone for a minute before he realized he should probably warn Rykah about the thing on the couch. hey, just so you know, my brother's crashing at my house right now. he's asleep so he'll be out of our hair, but i wanted to make sure you knew.

Rykah hummed in interest at the next text, but nodded.
Alright he sent back, still walking.

Glenn let out a breath of relief, texting back a quick great, before pulling the pizza he'd been cooking out of the oven. It didn't smell burnt, and the cheese looked melty, so he assumed it would be fine to eat. Now that everything was ready for Rykah's arrival, Glenn felt kind of empty. God, he hated when there was nothing to do.

Rykah traveled quickly, even though it took awhile for him to get there, soon he was knocking on Glenns door, his tail wagging eagerly.

Glenn winced as someone knocked at the door, glancing nervously at Hunter as he groaned but settled into what seemed to be a deep sleep. Phew. He walked up to the door and opened it, grinning widely when he saw that it was Rykah. "Hello! Um… come inside! I just reheated some pizza, if you're hungry."

Rykah smiled, "It smells good" he commented, stepping in happily.

Glenn hummed in agreement as he grabbed two plates from the cabinet and set them down on his table, careful not to let them clink too loudly. "Aww, you don't need to say that. It's just a frozen pizza, nothing special."

"Just saying the truth" said Rykah, leaning against the counter.

"Then… thanks, I guess," Glenn said, putting a couple slices of pizza on his plate. "Help yourself! After you're done eating we can get to work on planning and stuff."

Rykah nodded, smiling as he took a couple slices and munched happily.

Glenn worked his way through his own food quickly, nervously fiddling with the bottom of his sweater when he was done. "So, how was your day? Did you do anything fun?"

Rykah shrugged, "I took the day to go through my paints to see which are unusable… and came out with a few more splatter paintings I can sell…" he grinned at that last point.

Glenn grinned too, happy that his day had been productive. "That's great! I'm glad you got so much done. Mine was pretty boring, just setting up my tarot cards for readings and slogging through work." And worrying about how trashed the house would be when he got home, but he didn't need to bother Rykah with that little detail.

Rykah smiled, "Well at least both of us were productive" he said.

"Yeah, I guess. Work doesn't feel super productive, but it puts food on the table so I can't really complain." Glenn smiled and shrugged, jumping to a new conversation topic "What were you thinking about putting up on my wall? I've been thinking all day but I can't really settle on an idea that feels right."

"I'm not sure…" said Rykah honestly, "I had a few ideas, but none of them seemed to fit you"

Glenn laughed, ducking his head to hide his blush. Rykah had been thinking about him? "Um… well… I was thinking about putting the design from one of my cards up, but I'm not really sure which one. They're all so… much."

Rykah hummed thoughtfully, "Could I see?" he asked curiously.

(I'm back. Lemme find the cards so I can link them)
"Um, yeah. I'll grab the ones I was thinking about." Glenn stood, motioning for Rykah to follow him as he made his way into the bedroom. He grabbed his cards from their perch on his bedside table and rifled through them until he found the cards he wanted.

(Okay)
Rykah hummed quietly as he watched the other, and waited for his return, playing with the violet and gold armband that had slid down to his wrist.

Glenn quickly returned with his cards, presenting the three he was stuck between: the world, judgment, and death. "Which one do you think?"

Rykah hummed, intrigued by the choices. Thinking for a moment he studied them, before laying them on the coounter and pulling out his sketchpad and a pencil.

Glenn watched in interest, shuffling the cards around in his hands. "Do you want me to tell you the meanings? It might help you decide what feels best."

"Nah, I just needed some inspiration" he mumbled, "Besides, who said we had to choose?" he hummed, grabbing a few colored pencils to add to the scetch.

Glenn nodded, looking on as Rykah began to draw. He wondered what the finished product would look like. It would be beautiful, he was sure of that, but everything else was a bit of a mystery.

Rykah kept it up for several minutes, occasionally using the cards, which had been laid out on the counter, as a reference.

Glenn watched over his shoulder for a few minutes before he realized this seemed kind of creepy. He stood, grabbing his plate and walking over to the sink. "Um, I'm going to clean up dinner, tell me when you're done."
