"Pretty good actually" said Rykah, finally stepping out, then heading down the hall to unlock a door. Opening it he revealed a simple, spacious room littered with various art supplies, and plants.

Glenn took in the room with wide eyes, moving carefully so he wouldn't disturb anything. "You have a beautiful home, Rykah."
Rykah smiled at the compliment, heading over to the kitchen and digging out a few things to make lich, his tail flicking happily.
Glenn picked his way over to the kitchen table and sat down, smoothing down his sweater to give his hands something to do. It was always a little weird to be in someone else's space, so he tried to distract himself by taking in the art supplies scattered all around.
There were various sets of paints and sketchbooks, and the walls were either covered in papers, or bits of mural.
Glenn found his interest piqued by the murals, turning around in his chair to get a better look at them. It kind of amazed him that Rykah had made this apartment his own. Glenn had been living in his for three years and it still didn't feel like a home.
Rykah didn't pay any mind to the other's interest in his artwork, honestly most of it was done out of boredom.
Once Glenn had looked his fill, he turned back to Ryka, fiddling nervously with the hem of his sweater. The silence was toeing the line between comfortable and awkward. "What are you cooking?"
"Tacos.. don't ask me why, cause I've been doing that since I started" he said softly, laughing.
Glenn laughed along, settling down into his chair. "No, I like tacos. I like most food honestly; if it's in front of me, I'll eat it. I'm just glad one of us knows how to cook."
Rykah shrugged, "How do you not know how?"
Glenn rubbed a hand over the back of his neck, laughing quietly. "I just… never really learned, I guess. There were always other things that needed doing and I didn't get around to it"
"Fair enough" said Rykah, adding seasoning.
"I've actually had more free time lately, so I was thinking about learning. I mean, I should at least figure out the basics, right?" Glenn asked. He'd been carefully considering it for a couple of days but hadn't been able to find any classes cheap enough to look into.
(goodnight)
Firiko hummed, "Probably a good idea" he said, pouring the taco ingredients into bowls and laying them out on the counter, "Whelp, food's ready.
Glenn stood and walked over to the counter, assembling his taco and quickly whispering grace before he sat down and began digging in. About halfway through devouring his meal, he remembered his manners and sheepishly slowed down. "This is delicious Rykah!"
Rykah smiled, already munching on his own food, "Glad you like it…"
"Mmhm!" Glenn hummed enthusiastically, quickly finishing his taco with a contented sigh. "May I go up for seconds?"
"Sure" said Rykah grinning as he watched the other.
"Thank you!" Glenn smiled and hopped to his feet, refilling his bowl with more enthusiasm than he probably should've been feeling. But who could blame him? He was in a nice house with a great guy eating excellent food and feeling a lot better than he had in a long time. "So… where'd you learn how to draw like that?" he asked, pointing towards the art covered walls.
"Years of practice and absolute boredom…" said Rykah.
Glenn laughed softly. "Makes sense, I guess. What inspired you to put it up on the walls?"
"Boredom, plus it used to look like vomit." said Rykah, "It hurt my eyes so I changed it."
Glenn nodded in empathy. "Yeah, my bedroom used to have these awful lime green walls and I could barely stand to be in there. I slept on the couch for a month until I realized I could repaint it."
Rykah laughed, "Yeah, I had these walls whitewashed, but that was too bland and then I got bored, so that happened.." he said, gesturing to the wall.
"I think yours are probably better than mine. Grey paint was a bad choice because now everything just feels kinda dreary, and your art makes the whole house feel really… alive, I guess." Glenn shrugged, not quite satisfied with his wording.
Rykah hummed, smiling at his words, "I could always do something on your walls…?" he said softly.
"Really!?" Glenn asked, eyes lighting up at the proposal. "I'd love that! I mean, obviously, you don't have to if it would be too much trouble, but… well, um, I'd really like that." He ran a hand through his hair, trying to tamp down his excitement so he wouldn't bother Rykah with his over-enthusiasm.
Rykah blushed shyly at his excitement, "The only problem would be the fact that I don't have enough paint for an entire wall…."
