Miles shrugged it off and put his arms under his neck, falling asleep. It was hard with all of Emmeline's weight on him, but he coped with it quite quickly. Whatever…. I can just leave whenever I want….
Cloak and Dagger (O/O)
She continued sleeping quietly, no nightmares coming to wake her up and make another restless night. Emmeline shifted around again and was soon laying all on top of Miles, her head on his chest and her legs pulled up to her stomach.
Miles took in a deep breath and managed to crack an eye open. He grinned lightly. Well isn't that cute, huh?…. He brushed her hair out of her face to reveal her sleeping eyes, and he left her at that before falling back asleep.
After an hour or so of sleeping, she started waking up, rolling off of him slightly. Her head stayed on his chest and she cracked an eye open slowly, looking around for a moment before climbing back on top of him and sighing.
Miles was a bit sprawled out, but he holistically stayed where he was. He felt Emmeline shift a little, but didn't wake up. That girl needs her sleep….
"You up Miles?" She mumbled softly, closing her eyes again and listening to his heartbeat. Emmeline started humming softly as she tried to fall back asleep, still waiting for his answer.
Miles cracked his eye open again. "Hmm-mm?" He croaked. "…sure…" He shifted a little bit not too much. "How come?…."
"I just wanted to know if you wanted me to move so you can go to your bed.." She opened her eyes partially and laid one of her legs out straight on top of his.
Miles mumbled, "What makes you think I wanna move?…." He took in a deep breath, letting it out slowly.
She shrugged, "I dunno..I just thought that you might be sick of sleeping next to me.." She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand and sighed.
"Nawww…." He moaned. "I'd never do that…." Miles broke into a yawn and fell back asleep quite quickly.
"Good to know," she mumured, wrapping her arm around his and drifting back to sleep, "Wake me up if you want me to move or if we need to leave." She drifted back off to sleep with no problem, her eyelids fluttering softly.
Miles grumbled weakly in response, shifting to wrap himself around her. Sleep tight…. He let out a deep sigh, letting himself get that deep sleep he always needed.
She felt him shift around her and she made sure to stay close to him, no dreams or nightmares coming to ruin one of the only times she was sleeping peacefully.
(Do you want to time skip?)
(Sure)
(OOkey :3)
The sun was shining through the small crack in the curtains and into Miles’ eyes. He shifted around a little, surprised to feel Emmeline still clung to his arm. Well isn’t that plesant…. He took a deep breath and pried his eyes open. “Hey, Emmeline…..” He said softly. “It’s morning…..”
Emmeline groaned and shook her head, "Five more minutes..i don't wanna get up.." She held onto his arm tighter and sighed, shivering lightly.
He chuckled, wrapping around her. "Then I'll give you five minutes…." He said, pressing his lips against her forehead. "Take your time…."
She smiled softly, "Thanks Miles.." She mumbled, already falling back asleep so she could get as much rest as she could in the five minutes.
"…You know, Emmeline…." Miles murmured, giving her more tiny kisses. "…I've never taken the time to say how much I love you…."
"You're not making it easy to sleep.." She murmured, feeling another smile make its way onto her face, "I love you too Miles.."
He chuckled a short laugh, pecking her forehead some more. "I know I'm making it hard, and I'm sorry, Em…. But I do love you…."
She sighed and felt herself blush slightly, "Weirdo.." She joked, placing a small kiss on his cheek and hugging his arm tighter.
Miles snickered. "I'm no weirdo…. I'm also pretty positive that's the first time you've ever kissed me…" He kissed her again. At this rate, she'll never fall asleep…. He laughed internally at the thought.
Emmeline felt her face heat up more and she kissed him back, "How am I supposed to get more sleep if you keep kissing me?" She asked, placing another kiss, this time on his jaw.
"Why are you asking me, sweetheart?…." He brushed her hair from her eyes – it had grown since the first time he cut it. "How should I know?"
"I just figured you might know," She had never heard him call her sweetheart and she smiled, "You are the one that kissed me first, weren't you?"
"Oh, of course," He grinned, pressing his face into her hair. "It started back when I was a wolf, remember? Don't you remember all those canine kisses I gave you?"
She nodded and felt her smile grow, "Yes, I do remember those," She chuckled lightly, "In all honesty they tickled a lot."
