"Uuuhh I dunno about that-" She said, hastily going to put it away.
“Pleaseeeeeee” she begged.
"Why do you want to see it so bad?" Rook asked, dropping it just before she could get it into her pocket.
“Fiiiiine.” She picked it up without opening it and handed it back to her.
"Thanks. Maybe I'll show you someday, but right now I might literally die."
“Okayyyyyy you better at some point though.”
"Yeah, yeah."
She smiled at her slightly, taking her hand and interlacing their fingers.
Her cheeks darkened a bit and she smiled goofily.
Her smile widened and she stayed silent as the teacher came in.

L just stayed next to Rook, knowing enough to stay quiet. Some other students were talking among themselves.
Mrs. Ore waited until everyone had partnered up before speaking up. "The person you've chosen will be your sparring partner and training partner for the duration of the year. In the storage closet over there, you'll find school issued gym uniforms."
Rook groaned, muttering about the school having a hard on for uniforms.
“Looks like I’ll be beating you down all year babe.” She chuckled.
"You're just lucky there are rules, otherwise I'd be the one kicking your ass." She remarked as she pulled L towards the storage closet. The other students were loitering in the same spots they had been, putting off getting the uniforms.
“Suuuuure babe, keep telling yourself that.” She chuckled.
"You're forgetting," She turned, flashing her fangs. "I bite. Nothing is too low for me, except attacking when their back is turned. That's just cowardly."
She just chuckled “You think I don’t play dirty babe? I’ll do just about everything you would.”
"Doubt it. Now come on, I wanna get the good uniforms before they're nabbed."
“Whatever babe. Let’s go.”
Rook laughed, pulling her into the closet.
“Oh no I’m back to being in the closet.” She said jokingly.
"Yeah, but now I'm in here with you. You know what that means~" She said suggestively, winking over her shoulder.
“Ooh sounds pretty smexy Rook.” She waggled her eyebrows.
Rook snorted. "Did you just say smexy? I can't tell if that's a turn on or off for me."
