"Good." He kissed her lightly.
Don't Leave // One-On-One // CLOSED
Raven smiled wildly. "Are we just gonna sit here making remarks or are we gonna do something fun?"
"And what would you suggest?"
"Anything but what we've been doing for the past 10 minutes."
"Mmm… I can't think of anything better than this."
"There's always something better than this, Connor. You just gotta know where to find it."
"Can you tell me where that is? Because until you do…" He paused to kiss her forehead. "I don't believe you."
"Disneyland? I've never been, but I've heard it's 'The Most Magical Place on Earth™'."
He couldn't help but laugh. "You think Disneyland is better than this?"
"Well….it has princesses, and pretzels, and magic, and rollercoasters. None of which I've experienced, but yes."
"Do you want to go then?" he asked gently.
"Do we have money? I don't have much… Wait."
"Wait, what?"
"My dad. He was rich. Like, really rich. And he's dead. So…would I inherit everything?"
"Technically, I believe so," he replied, kissing the top of her head. Her hair tickled his throat.
"What do you mean technically? Could it go to someone else?"
"Unless you secretly have any other siblings, then no."
"If I did, I wouldn't know about them. I was kept in the dark about almost everything my whole childhood."
"Then the money's yours, babe," he said, pulling her into his chest.
"That means we have a mansion, Connor."
He gaped for a moment. "We… have… a mansion?"
"It was my father's. He called it 'Black Mansion'. Don't ask me why, I don't know."
"Huh. Would you care to teleport, m'lady?" he asked charmingly.
"Gladly," Raven smiled. She teleported herself away and left Connor.
(Wait, she can teleport?)
(Chaos magic. This includes -
Reality warping, magic probability manipulation, teleportation, matter manipulation, time manipulation, energy projection, manipulation and absorption)
(Oooooooooooooh, okay!)
Connor grinned and teleported beside her. "Think you can get away from me, m'lady?"
Raven smiled slyly. "I had maybe hoped."
He slipped an arm around her waist and pulled her against him. "You would miss me. You would miss destroying me in arguments."
"I think what I'd miss is someone actually loving me," Raven smiled sadly.
