“C’mon… I’m exhausted from rehearsal and all I want to do is watch The Flash or something,” Amber groaned, pulling her legs up to her chest in the chair.

“Well, too bad,” William muttered, running a hand through his hair. There we go. That was what William deduced. Five minutes into the second round and the team already scored ten points, still looking like they had energy in them. Their opponent was already exhausted. This was a terrible team to play against…

“Can’t you just, like, watch it later…? Please, William. One episode of a show,” Amber murmured, digging into her ice cream.

@blue_topaz

(did someone say The Flash???)

William sighed, tossing her the remote. There was nothing to watch, anyway. The other team lost. It was obvious.

“Here,” he muttered, closing his eyes. Why was she so annoying? Couldn’t you just watch it on her laptop or something? Why bother him?

Amber grinned a little as she caught the remote and flicked Netflix on. Her parents let her use their account, so it was totally free for her, which was great. Especially since it meant that she could spend her money on more important things, like food.

She searched through the shows, looking for something that interested her. Nothing new seemed to spark her interest, so she decided to just start rewatching Marvel's Agents of SHIELD. Again…

Season one, episode one: Pilot. Not her favorite episode, but she wouldn't skip.

William sighed, throwing his head back when she took the remote, clicking on Netflix. Just before he stood up to make his way to his room, she clicked on Agents of SHIELD. William didn't move from his seat, Instead, he crossed his legs, leaned back, eyes on the screen.

AOS wasn't his favorite show from Marvel, but it wasn't like he hated it. He liked it–he just didn't watch it a lot. He stopped watching season five, but mostly because he started to get too busy to continue. The episode started and both stayed silent.

He didn't seem upset with her choice… Interesting… In fact, he actually almost looked like he knew what it was.

He was a mystery to her. An absolute mystery. What would she find out about him next? It was always a surprise…

Halfway through the episode, William stood up to walk towards the kitchen. He was hungry for some instant noodles, and right as he put the small pot of water on the stove, he turned to look at Amber.

He didn't want to ask her, but it would be rude to eat without asking the other. William sighed.

What would she find out about him next?

He's playful and mean towards his teammates. xD)

(Lol.)

Amber don't glance up when William moved. She simply brought the spoon back to her mouth for more of her frozen treat.

Although, said dessert was giving her a chill… And there was a blanket on the back of the couch… Would it be weird if she had suddenly moved while he was gone? Maybe… Not that she would care, though.

So, because she was too cold to be comfortable now, Amber stood and plopped over into the couch, reaching over to the other side to grab the blanket. She wrapped it around herself, making sure that she could get ice cream through the hole around her neck, and snuggled into the couch.

William walked back into the living room to find his roommate wrapped in a blanket on the couch, snuggling into it. He stared at her for a second, watching as she stuffed her mouth with ice cream through the hole she'd made. Why was she so goddamn weird?

He walked behind the couch towards her, leaning towards its back. Though he was near her, William didn't look at her.

"I'm making instant noodles," he said, though he didn't even want to ask in the first place. "You want some?"

(Why is she so weird? Because she likes to be as comfortable as possible, that's why. XD)

Amber nearly jumped at his sudden voice coming from behind her. She turned slightly, only to see that he wasn't even looking at her. She made a face before swallowing her bite of ice cream and shaking her head.

"No, I'm good. Thanks, though," she answered, her attention back on the screen.

“Perfect,” William muttered, satisfied, pretending he hadn’t noticed the face she’d made. By the time he went back into the kitchen, the water was already boiling, so he opened the back and put the noodles inside, soaking them before he added the spices.

He covered the pot before leaning against the counter, taking out his phone and passing time as his dish cooked.

Amber settled into her new spot, glad she wouldn't have to worry about William bothering her for at least a while. Had she bought food he was eating? She didn't remember doing so, but that didn't mean she hadn't done it.

Once his noodles were done cooking, he poured it in a bowl, pulled out hot sauce. He liked his things spicy.

Once his noodles were officially ready, he mixed them with a fork, not wanting to return to the living room. Amber was truly something else. He decided to head off to his room before he decided against it. His room would get dirty. He didn’t like it dirty.

So he walked back into the living room and settled back on his head, turning his attention back to the TV.

(Aw, I had her move so we could do your idea. Lol. That's okay, though.
Should we skip? Idk what to do right now.)

Amber finished off her ice cream about a quarter of the way through the second episode. She set the container aside and adjusted the blanket so she would be more comfortable.

Gosh, she was seriously exhausted from rehearsal… She blinked a few times, trying to keep her eyes open and focused on the screen. Unfortunately, she couldn't help but eventually pass out when it was closer to halfway through the show, and her head slowly dropped onto Wiliam's shoulder.

William stopped with his fork in his mouth when he felt weight on his shoulder. He looked to the side and found the cause to be Amber’s head.

He sighed. She was asleep. Of course she was. He didn’t know why, but he stayed still, setting his nearly empty bowl to the side table. If he made a move to eat, she’d wake up. He didn’t even know why that mattered.

So he stayed still, feeling her breathing against him. Then before William knew it, his eyes began to drop slowly as well.

Close to the middle of the night, Amber woke with a slight pain in her neck. She stirred and tried to get comfortable again before realizing that she wasn’t in her bed. But if she wasn’t in her bed, then where was she…?

She sleepily blinked her eyes open and came to the conclusion that she was in the living room. So she must have fallen asleep on the couch, huh? But…

Oh no… Nonono…

Pulling herself away from the warmth at her side, she stared at William’s sleeping form. Really? She’d fallen asleep on him? How could she have done that? Why had she done that?

William stirred slightly at the movement, opening his eyes slowly. Picking his head up from the couch, he winced. He definitely had a sore neck, and he wouldn’t be surprised if he had a sore back, too.

Blinking sleep away, William wondered when exactly he had dozed off. All he remembered was eating, Amber falling asleep on him and… he finally looked to met her eyes.

Fantastic. He could have just left her there, but he stayed still and he fell asleep on her, too. Just great.

Amber blinked when William woke up and met her eyes. She froze for a moment, then shook herself out of it and stood.

“I’m, uh… I’m just going to go to my room, now…” she murmured, nodding in that direction. “Have a good rest of your night…”

William sighed, closing his eyes when Amber walked away before he finally stood up, grabbing his bowl and dumping the leftovers. He washed the dishes, eyes heavy with sleep before he turned the TV off and went to his own room, falling back on the bed and asleep right when he made himself comfortable.

(Should we do one of our other scenes? Or maybe just some practicing on their song?)

(Sounds good!)

Amber grabbed her purse from the hook near the door, then turned around to make sure she’d grabbed everything she need. She had her sheet music, her water bottle… Was she forgetting anything? Oh! Her phone, of course.

After running back to her room to grab it quickly, she slipped her shoes on and walked out the door. A short walk later, she arrived at the music room, where she waited for the last group to finish whatever it was they were doing.

Shooting the ball in the baskets, William wiped his face clean of sweat with a towel. Their manager, a girl with blue hair and glasses, handed them all bottles of water, which William proceeded to empty—half drinking it, half pouring it over himself. The others followed suit.

“William,” the manager said in her usual, uncaring tone, seemingly used to her team’s behavior. “You’ve got a reservation at the music room. You can leave early.”

William nodded, capping his bottle, which the manager took from him. Behind him, his teammates groaned. William shot them a smug look before he walked into the locker room, shaking his head before he changed his clothes. He grabbed his violin and his bag, slipping his phone in his pocket before he made his way to the music room, breathless.

Once he reached, he saw Amber was already there, and the previous group had already finished practicing and were making their way out. They had an hour to practice.

“Just get out of practice?” Amber greeted William as she saw him walking up. The other group stepped out of the room, and she moved to hold the door for him.
