(But… I mean… It’s your character…)
Skylar followed and grabbed the key that hung by the door. She didn’t want to get locked out of her own apartment.

(I don’t really mind. It’s your rules, soooo)
Revil paused near his door and looked over. “So, what are you gonna have for dinner?”
(I don’t think I ever actually have an age range, though, and I don’t want you to feel like I’m forcing you to change it…)
“Um… Probably mac and cheese,” Skylar said with a shrug.
(I don’t want you to be bothered with it, though.)
Revil chuckled. “Sounds fun. Have a good time with that.”
(I mean… I don’t really want to bother you about it, though…
My friend and I are watching Divergent, so she took an aptitude test and got Candor — honest. She said she wanted Divergent, but she wanted to be honest on the questions, which made her crack up.)
“Thanks. I will,” Skylar chuckled. “Would you, um, like to join me?”
(You’re not bothering me ^-^
Lmao. I’m not sure which Aptitude I am… what are you?)
Revil perked up a little. “Me? Sure!”
(Divergent. 😉)
“Cool,” Skylar said with another chuckle, this one more giggle-like. “I’ll save you a seat, then.”
(Hehehehe)
Revil laughed softly. “I’ll wear my best suit and tie.”
“You do that,” Skylar chuckled. “I, on the other hand, will be wearing the same thing I am now: sweats.”
Revil laughed softly. “If that is the theme, I will probably follow in it.”
Skylar laughed lightly. “I might change, but don’t bet on it.”
Revil chuckled and rolled his eyes. “I’ll come in my fanciest sweats.”
“Well, then, I might have to do my hair,” Skylar giggled.
Revil laughed. “I’ll fluff mine up like I just rose from a nap.”
“I’ll just pile mine on top of my head in a messy bun,” Skylar giggled.
Revil laughed. “It’ll be perfect.”
“Definitely perfect,” Skylar agreed with a light laugh.
Not long after, the locksmith showed up and helped Revil get into his apartment.
Revil smiled in relief and payed the locksmith promptly when he got into his apartment. They left, and Revil turned to her.
“When should we meet?”
“Hm… What about—“ Skylar but her lip as she checked her watch. “6:30? Does that work for you?”
Revil checked his watch. It shorted out months ago. To recover he acted like he was reading the time.
“Sure. Sounds good.”
Skylar nodded with a grin. “Great! I’ll see you then.”
Now, she was going to change… And fix her hair… Because this just wasn’t going to do for dinner.
Revil waved and walked into his apartment. He was definitely dressing up. Even if it was a dinner of microwaved mac and cheese.
Skylar didn't plan on microwaved mac and cheese… She'd make it on the stove like any cultured person would.
But first, she changed into a pair of dark jeans and a light pink tshirt. She also combed her hair and put it into a cute bun on the top of her head.
Revil pulled on a pair of dark jeans with a spangled gray pattern running up the thighs. He thought it was a little too feminine, but people seemed to like it. He shouldered on a white dress shirt and little gray bowtie and brushed his hair back.
Skylar decided to put on some sparkly, light pink, strawberry-flavored lip gloss, too, as well as some mascara to accent her eyes. Maybe it was too much, but she hoped it would t scare him away… Or make it look like she was trying too hard.
He frowned at himself in a mirror. He looked off, his slick hair, bowtie, shirt… What was missing?
Oh. He forgot to shave this morning. He probably looked scruffy.
After she was finished, Skylar hurried to the kitchen to start on the food. It wouldn't take long, but she wanted to have the food done and the table set by the time Revil arrived.
Revil battled with himself. Should he shave? Yes? No? Maybe she’ll like the look? Probably not.
She might… If it wasn't super long, just a brush of stubble across his chin and cheeks.
Revil decided to just shave it all. He didn’t want to seem like the neighborhood creepo.
