Soon, the food was almost ready, and the table was set. Elizabeth wasn't coming back tonight because she was visiting her parents for the weekend (because I'm saying it's Saturday now), so it would just be the two of them. Alone. Together…

Revil finished shaving and somehow didn’t nick himself. He prayed to the gods above that the date/dinner goes well, grabbed his key and walked out the door, to Sky’s, where he knocked.

Skylar jumped and stared at the door. Could she really do this? She had to… She'd already promised him food.
Shaking off her thoughts, she opens the door with a bright grin and let Revil in. "Hey! You look great!"
Revil tucked his key away and beamed. “Thanks! You look great too!” It was a good recovery from him turning tail and running back to his apartment.

"Oh, thanks," Skylar said, blushing slightly as she chuckled a bit. "Come on in, food's almost ready."
Revil smiled and let himself in. “Thanks. Do you want me to help?”

“No, it’s all right. Just have a seat at the table, and I’ll be right there,” Skylar said as she closed the door behind him.
Revil nodded and went to grab a seat. He neatened out his shirt before sitting.
“Okay? Sooo… what’cha making?”

“I did say mac and cheese, did I not?” Skylar chuckled as she stepped into the kitchen to grab the food.
Revil laughed and leaned back into his chair. “You sure did.”

Skylar reappeared in the dining room with a pot of steaming food. She grinned as she set it down in the middle of the table. “Voila!”
Revil clapped his hands together happily. “Yaaay! It looks great!”

“Thanks,” Skylar chuckled as she sat down across from Revil. “Don’t expect it to taste any different than regular mac and cheese, though.”
Revil laughed and spooned a portion into a bowl. “I will expect it to be amazing.”

“No, don’t! You will be sorely disappointed!” Skylar laughed as she did the same.
Revil laughed with her. “I will expect to be amazed!”

“You can’t say I didn’t warn you,” Skylar teased with an overdramatic sigh.
Revil laughed and pulled up a spoonful. “It will be incredible.”

Skylar chuckled as she spooned a bit of the cheesy pasta into her mouth. Gosh, it had been forever since she’d had macaroni and cheese last…
Revil hummed happily and chewed on the yummy dish. It was just classic store brand, but he’d never had it so good.

Skylar glanced up at Revil as they ate, smiling a bit. He looked like he was enjoying the food.
Revil felt her staring, looked up and met her gaze. He smiled and a noodle tumbled from his lip. He laughed softly at himself.

Skylar blushed when he looked up. Crap, had she been staring?
She chuckled a bit when the noodle fell, then went back to eating her own food.
Revil looked back down at his food and continued to happily eat it, humming into the noodle.
“I have an amazing dessert in my apartment that we can enjoy after dinner.”

“Really? What is it?” Skylar asked, looking back up at him curiously.
“Cheesecake. I made it a couple days ago.”

“Mm… Sounds great,” Skylar hummed. “Much fancier than my dinner.”
Revil smiled and waved his hand. “It’s wonderful.”

“Well… Thanks for joining me,” Skylar said, giving him a small smile.
Revil smiled back. “Thank you for inviting me.”
