Eyes Are The Window To The Soul (OXO Romance CLOSED)

Essentially two high school teens have a rare genetic mutation that gives them super natural abilities. People with these abilities are highly discriminated against and prized as sla-I mean servants. They are forced to hide the ability. It's a lot harder than you might think. Ability control comes with years of practice and uncontrolled it can flare up at random times. While that doesn't always mean bad things, almost anyone can tell when an ability is used. As the eyes start to glow, secrets are unraveled, and a bond is formed between the two.

Myrah was humming along to the song playing on her phone. One earbud was hanging in while the other swung freely beside her. She only lived a few blocks from her high school and chose to walk to school every day. She made her way up the front steps to the school building.

Ferris sighed, fiddling with a pen in the back of the Class. Her contacts were bothering the hell out of her. "start so this can end..please…" She groaned, slamming her head on the desk and crossing her arms

Myrah headed into her first hour and walked to the back of the class. She spotted the girl next to her, Ferris, slam her head into the desk. She sat down and looked to Ferris, "You okay?"

She shook her head without looking up "Peachy, just freaking peachy." She sighed and picked her head up and staring at the girl "No one's sitting there if you're looking for a free seat." She said, gesturing to the empty chair next to her

Myrah sat down in the chair and put her stuff on the desk, "I was. You don't look peachy."

"Sarcasm. pure and utter sarcasm." She glanced away, trying to hide the momentary flash of her eyes. She inhaled and exhaled slowly, trying to control her rapid heartbeat "I'm Ferris." She introduced with a slight smile, looking back the girl

Myrah smiled back and offered a hand out to her. She had to do something to stop the crawl on her skin urging her to draw something, "I'm Myrah. It's nice to meet you."

She took her hand and shook it "you came prepared. ha I only brought paper and pencil." She slammed her head against the desk again and groaned "I wanna get out!!!!!"
