Leona knocked back her shot like a pro, letting out a little hiss as the tequila hit the back of her throat. "Yes! Leona! Get it, girl!" an accented voice hollered in her ear. She winced, but smiled as as she leaned over to hug her best friend tight. The Goat Hill Bar was packed tonight, but it didn't matter to Jen. The more people to party with, the more fun she had. Considering it was Jen's last weekend as an unmarried woman, Leona had let her choice of bachelorette party venue slide. There was plenty of time to go wine tasting in the quiet countryside later in life.
Jen ordered another round and Leona sided up to Brianna "Looks like it's going to be a crazy night." She said with a slightly awkward laugh. "We're so going to die if Jen keeps this up." Brianna agreed. "At least we'll die like we always said we would in college. Happy, drunk and in love." Leona said with a laugh, flicking a long strand of honey colored hair out of her face. Damn, I should have put it up
"Well at least one of us is in love." Brianna corrected as Jen reappeared with six shots. "Yea…" Leona said quietly enough that neither woman heard her. It was too bad, honestly. She had a date to Jen's wedding only a week ago, but said date was found in bed with another woman….Again. Ugh, no don't think about it Leona thought to herself as she absently joined in on another shot with her two best friends. She certainly knew that the next couple weeks were going to be a whirlwind so hopefully she could keep her mind off of that scumbag.

Abby tucked a strand of shaggy blonde hair out of her bright green eyes and back into her hood, clutching her weapon tightly. She had been doing this for years and she had never been this close to the city. She knew she should leave but a part of her was curious. And the cut in her leg was slowing her down. It wasn’t deep enough to need stitches but enough to be bothersome. She leaned against the staff to take some of the weight off, breathing a little heavily.
It was getting darker, she needed to leave now.
She couldn’t stop the pained gasp as she started walking.
