Farah eventually finished the work, setting the last folder down on the stack. She sighed with relief, but when she looked over at her protégé's desk, the feeling instantly vanished. Farah shot to her feet and moved swiftly around her desk. "Neva?"

Farah hurriedly left her office and searched the school. After not seeing Neva in the halls, Farah rushed to her room. She flung open the door and gasped. "There you are!"

Farah would've laughed, but she was still more concerned than amused at the moment. She rushed to Neva's side. "What happened? Are you hurt? Why did you leave my office? When did you leave? Why didn't you tell me?" she demanded worriedly.
