Farah stilled at that. Her fingers curled into fists at her sides, but she didn't move.

Farah closed her eyes and placed a hand up to the prison veil.
“Farah?” neva asked curious but worried

When the headmistress’ eyes opened, they were shimmery blue which meant she was using her magic. She was using her magic, but it was unclear what she was doing with it.
“Farrah! Fare at blackheart!” neva said sternly

The woman looked over at her partner quickly. “What have I told you about taking my last name?” she said, but her voice sounded strained. Whatever she was doing was using a lot of magic.
“What are you doing!?” she asked

“Reinforcing… the barrier… if it’s quite alright… with you…” Farah got out as the barrier glowed brighter and brighter until it was a nearly blinding white. Then, at once, it returned to normal.
Neva blinked heavily before looking at the woman, then turning and cuddling into farrah

Farah held Neva close, trying to catch her breath. “She shouldn’t be able to get in your mind anymore,” she murmured, leaning heavily on her fiancée.
Neva held her closer "you okay,"

Farah laughed quietly. “No, I’m not okay. I’m exhausted.”
"then let's get back to your room, so you can rest.."

Farah nodded, making sure to keep her eyes open so she didn’t go unconscious. “Can you guide me, my darling?”
"mhm.." she hummed and guided Farrah to her room

Though her eyes were open, Farah’s steps were absent. She breathed heavily and leaned on Neva for guidance.
Neva led them back to farrags room, laying her down gently

Farah sighed quietly as she relaxed against the mattress. “Join me?” she murmured, though her eyes were already shutting.
“Always” neva mumbled and laid down as well

Farah smiled and hugged Neva to her chest. A testament to her exhaustion, the headmistress fell asleep almost instantly.
Neva sat awake, pondering things and running small circles up and down Farrah's side with her fingers

Farah twitched once or twice, whining quietly in her sleep. “Neva…” she breathed softly, her face wincing.
“I'm here..” she whispered softly

“Neva!” Farah cried out, still asleep. She moaned quietly and winced again.
Neva jumped up, attempting to wake Farrah

The headmistress didn’t wake for another few minutes. She gasped quietly and woke with a start, her face panicked. “Neva,” she whispered, pulling the girl into a tight embrace.
“ I'm here, I'm here..”

Farah closed her eyes and sighed, slowly calming down from whatever nightmares she’d had. “I’m still so tired,” she whispered.
