Flipping the Script!! / Rp partner needed! Open!!

"Hmm." Karia glanced around, but he couldn't see anyone who even remotely resembled Adrian. "I don't think so." He sighed softly, narrowing his eyes slightly. The chance that Adrian would be here was slim, but Karia still couldn't stop himself from being a bit disappointed. "Well, we should probably get out of here before someone notices." Karia grinned at Sam.

"Yeah." Karia turned around and carefully made his way back to the ladder that led down. "Hmm, anyone else…" He frowned, going through everyone he knew. "We could go get Augustine. They're not too big, but still get annoying sometimes." Karia looked over at Sam for confirmation. "Want to go after them?"

"Perfect!" Karia lifted the trapdoor and started to make his way down the ladder. "At, you're right." He frowned, trying to work out the relationships between the various leaders. "I don't think he's ever interacted with Augustine, or even really knows about them, so I think we're good." Karia reached the bottom of the ladder and stepped aside so Sam could come down too.

"Right." Karia nodded. If one or two minor people disappeared, Adrian probably wouldn't care. But as Sam had said, a huge amount of disappearances would alert him that something was happening. "Well, off we go!" He headed toward where the staircase had been. It was no longer trustworthy, though, so he held a hand out to Sam so they could teleport to the bottom floor.

"Ha, that's true." Karia nodded, imagining what Sam had described. It really would be fun. He teleported them both to the ground floor, pausing to remember where Augustine would be. It was a good thing that he had to basically memorize the locations of everyone when he first joined with Ocean.

"Augustine lives– or, well, has their base– near that really sketchy park over there." Karia waved in the general direction, starting back towards the door. "They don't have many people, but we'll probably have to get past them anyway."

"I won't be." Karia grinned at him and opened the door. "Ha, it sure will be." There weren't any people on the street, which was perfect. He turned and started toward the park. "This is the most fun I've had in a while." Karia skipped a few steps. "Just chasing down people and making them disappear…" He sighed. "It's wonderful."

"Ooh, yes!" Karia grinned, clapping his hands in excitement at the idea. A passing pedestrian gave him a weird look, but Karia didn't care. He never did care what other people thought of him, not even if they were scared of him or not. If they were, though, it was a nice bonus. Everyone would be afraid of Sam, soon, and that would be glorious.

Karia noticed the warning look that Sam gave the person and had to smile a little. It was nice to know that Sam would fight people for him, even if it was just to add to his collection. The park was only a few blocks away, and then there was only one more block until Augustine's place. "Oh, uh, just to warn you. Augustine can kinda do the same thing I can do, but only short distances. It might make things more interesting." Karia glanced over at Sam, feeling like he was forgetting something else about Augustine.

"Yeah, they aren't an idiot." Karia shook his head. "Um…" He frowned, trying to remember what he was forgetting. Nothing came to mind, however. "No, I don't think so. But if I think of something, I'll tell you as soon as I can." He grinned at Sam, then glanced forward. "Oh, there's the park!" Karia pointed ahead of them. The park was basically just a square of dead grass with some benches and a random square of pavement. "Just one block after this and we'll be there!"

"Yeah, unfortunately," Karia sighed, shaking his head as well. It really was a very sad park. If someone planted a few trees and took care of the grass, then it might actually be nice. Maybe someone could add a picnic bench to the concrete platform. It might actually be nice. Karia nodded in answer to Sam's question, smiling when he grabbed his hand. He increased his pace as well, not wanting to make Sam drag him along behind him.

"Okay." Karia nodded, giving the sad park one last, long look before focusing on what was ahead of them. After a little while, they got close enough to the building for Karia to point it out. "It's in the basement of that building," Karia said softly, nodding towards the building. "I don't think they would be too suspicious at us asking for an audience, so we could either do that or break in. Your choice!" He looked at Sam and grinned.

"Alright." Karia nodded, grinning at the idea. "Oh, giving them false confidence! I love it." He laughed softly. As they neared the building, Karia put on a serious face. It didn't look like there was anyone guarding the stairway that led down to Augustine's door. The moment the pair got close, however, a person slid out of the shadows by the door. The guard was tall, staring up at them with dark eyes. "Let me do the talking," Karia whispered, glancing over at Sam.

Karia turned onto the stairs and started down them. The guard shifted in front of the door, crossing his arms over his chest.
"What are you doing here?" The guard asked in a slightly annoyed voice.
"We're here to see Augustine," Karia said, staring up at him. "We want to join them."
"You– why?"
"Well, I believe that they are the only one who would be able to take on the rest of the city." Karia shrugged. "You could use people, right? I swear to you, we're really good." He sighed. "At least grant us an audience with them."
