Mason hums a soft tune as he gets to work, seeming all too focused in what he was doing. “Do you know sign language?”

"i-i uhm…y-yes, i f-found a m-manuel i-in my o-old home, i had n-nothing b-better to-to do but read i-it"

"y-yeah i c-can heat up a-and stuff…i-i have a f-fluffy t-tail if that's w-what you're asking. i-i'm made of m-metal t-though so-so i d-don't know h-how 's-soft' i am…o-oh b-but i do h-have squishy p-pads on-on my claws!" he turned them over and there was soft padded pads

Mason laughs softly. “Mind if I replace a few things? Most of you stays metal but the rest of you is soft. For the kids.”

he thought for a moment then did the robot equivalent of smiling even though he didn't have a mouth "o-ok"

Mason smiles back, then continues working. After a long while, he sighs. “Good news and bad news. Bad news is. Can’t fix the voice box nor the tics. Good news is, less bugs, and a nice cuddly body. I also downloaded some things on how to take care of kids, how to get them to sleep. Trauma studies…and more. You basically know everything.” He looks at him.

Mason coughs into a tissue again, wheezing slightly. He quickly balled up the tissue and threw it away, then walked Benny to the daycare. It was nice and colorful, but not too bright. It looked somewhat similar to the old mall.
