Fox let out a faint snort at that. "Aye, makes sense." he replied, running a hand through his hair.

Elissa let out a hmph. “Of course it makes sense,” she responded. “You guys killed my grandmother and locked me in a cell.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Fox laughed a little bit. "Yeah, that's true." he replied, glancing over at her. "I'm not denying any of that."

Elissa rolled her eyes. “Wow way to go,” she responded sarcastically. “Would you like a medal for that?” She laughed slightly as well, her feelings all over the place.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Fox blinked at her. "No. i was just telling the truth." he replied, cocking his head slightly.

Elissa pursed her lips, then sighed again. “I know,” she responded, now a bit more calm. “I didn’t mean to snap at you, but obviously I’ve had a rough time recently.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

He nodded. "I know." he said, looking over at her. "I realise that."

“Mmm.” Elissa looked back at him, twisting a lock of hair around her finger. “You’re a lot…nicer than I thought you would be.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Fox snorted. "I mean, I'm stuck in a cell, so." he replied, shaking his head a little bit.

“I hadn’t noticed,” Elissa responded dryly. “I just meant that I sort of expected you to be all dark and moody and not talk to me at all. Or taunt me or something, I suppose. It’s not like I’m used to being locked in a cell.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Fox raised his eyebrows. "Me? Nah. Not my style. Besides, that would get boring after a while."

Elissa continued to play with her hair, running the curls through her fingers. "I suppose," she agreed. "Seeing as we're in cells, I think anything would get boring after a while."

@ElderGod-Icefire

"That's true." he replied. "I can antagonize you if you'd prefer, I suppose."

"I'd rather you don't," Elissa responded. "I'm not in a state to bombard you with sarcasm and cutting remarks." She smiled grimly, giving up on trying to fix her hair.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He laughed a little, looking up at the ceiling again. "Hm, alright." he replied.

"What an odd pair we make," Elissa muttered, staring blankly at the door of the cell. Her mouth slowly curved into a smile.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He snorted. "We are not a pair, I assure you." he replied, shaking his head.

Elissa flushed. "I was just saying," she retorted. "I didn't mean anything by it. Whatever." She was quite adept at saying the wrong thing, and it seemed that now was no exception.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He laughed a little bit. "I'm sure." he replied, closing his eyes and sighing softly.

Elissa rolled her eyes. "Okay, well I don't care what you think." She folded her arms, leaning her back against the wall.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Good." he laughed again, keeping his eyes closed.

"Good," Elissa echoed, sounding a bit like a petulant child. Wow, how mature of her. She definitely felt like a child in the face of all of this.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He laughed again at her response, crossing his legs and laying down, stretched out on his back.

Elissa continued to stare at the door, momentarily holding onto her anger before giving up and laughing slightly herself. Well, at least she could laugh at her own childish attitude.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He released a breath. "So. Now what?" he questioned, arching an eyebrow in her direction.

"What do you mean?" Elissa asked. "You want to play twenty questions or something like we're bored kids at school? Or do you mean like what is actually going to happen to us next?" Elissa wasn't sure about what would happen to her, though she figured since she was in the belly of the beast here, she had two options: either somehow manage to escape this place (unlikely) or sit here until the Wolf or Dmitri or whatever his name was decided what to do with her.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(i don't really know where you wanted this RP to go, which is why I'm kinda floundering here)

He laughed again, shaking his head and shrugging. "Well. That's up to you, I suppose. It was mostly meant as a rhetorical question."

(oh ok! sorry about that, my bad. anyway, I was sort of thinking that Dmitri takes an interest in her and talks to her a bit every day, so maybe we'll have to do some time skipping. then they could be starting for fall for each other, but Dmitri or Fox or someone does something–probably killing someone–to make Elissa go back to thinking that they're evil or whatever. then Dmitri lets her go and she almost gets killed bc she's an idiot. after that idk, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.)

"Oh, right, yeah," Elissa responded. "I mean, we could play twenty questions if you want to."

@ElderGod-Icefire

(oookay perfect! Thanks for that, I just wasn't sure what you were wanting)

Fox looked over. "I mean…sure?" He replied. "Though I'm sure at some point Dmitri is going to want to talk to you."

"Why?" Elissa asked, her eyes narrowed. "What does he want?" She couldn't possibly imagine what sadistic ideas were cooking in that head of his. Maybe he was impressed by her fighting skills or something. Or maybe he just wanted information from her, such as something about her grandmother. Well, she wouldn't tell him how her grandmother had managed to evade them for so long (because she certainly couldn't have done stuff like that recently). It wasn't like she knew anyway.
