Samantha slowly grins, “Oh hoh hoh, how the plot thickens! You do fancy her!… And don’t say you look bad, if that’s what you meant. You’re lovely Caelia!!! Have you looked at me? And, yeah, she probably does have a boyfriend… that doesn’t mean it would hurt to try and become her friend! You could try to sway her to the hot chick side with your… charm.” She jokes, elbowing Caelia teasingly.
(Oooh I like that! It is a boarding school now)

@Simon-Says

Caelia rolled her eyes before putting her head back down. "This is so stupid. This is just - " she groaned and tugged at a piece of hair. "I'll just text her. This is probably a horrible decision. If this turns out to be some sort of terrible prank, I'm placing at least 33% percent of the blame on you." She lulled out her phone and flipped through her book to find the sticky note. "What an obnoxious colour," she muttered, typing the number into her phone. She took a deep breath before sending the words, "Hi, this is Caelia," then promptly put her head back on the table. "This is a really stupid decision."

@Simon-Says

(Alright lit, boarding school it is.)

“Relax Cae, I doubt its a prank!!! I’m sure she’s just trying to be friendly. And if I’m wrong I will wear that 33% with shameful pride.” Samantha says as reassuringly as possibly, rubbing Caelia’s back with her hand.

Evangeline was just about to take her usual after school nap in her room, when her phone vibrates. She shoots up and grabs it off the charger, thinking at first it’s from her parents or sister. She’s surprised to see it’s Caelia. What the hell? She wonders, genuinely surprised Caelia did text her. “Oh! Hello!!! You texted me! :D!,” She types back, her heart pounding from the adrenaline and excitement.

@Simon-Says

"Shameful pride isn't a thing," Caelia muttered. She grimaced when she felt her phone vibrate, slowly and gingerly picking it up to look at it. She blinked for several seconds, then put the phone back down, thinking. She tapped her fingers on the table, then picked it back up, typing. "Well, yes, obviously I did." she sent it before she could think about it, and rubbed her temples. "This is stressful. Why did I do this?"

Samantha sighs, “Stop being a hard ass… just relax ok?” She furrows her brows as she watches Caelia’s movements, “There’s still time to stop it if you need to. Just text her something like, ‘I just wanted to say to not talk to me again’ or something if it’s that stress inducing.”

I was worried you weren’t going to based on how you speed walked out of the chem class haha,” Evangeline typed, rolling onto her back and putting her phone above her face. “Sooo… you’ve thought about what I said then?

@Simon-Says

"Everything is stress-inducing, Sam," Caelia sighed, looking at her phone again. "I guess," she hit send, paused for a few seconds, then added, "texting stresses me out, can we talk in person?"

“I- ok that’s fair I guess…” Samantha said, shrugging and trying to peek at the texts as she then asked, “What are you guys even talking about, if you don’t mind me asking??”

Evangeline raised an eyebrow as she sat up and rapidly typed, “Yeah of course! I wouldn’t want you to be stressed. Where do you want to meet? The courtyard? The chem class(haha I’m so funny)? Oh, the caféteria?

@Simon-Says

Caelia looked up at Sam and asked, "where should I meet up with her?" She tugged on a piece of hair thoughtfully.

“How about here? Then I can hide behind a bookshelf and help you out incase you need it!” Sam suggested, trying to be smart about this. She was already getting up, totally prepared to hide if needed. It was probably more chaotic of her than usual.

@Simon-Says

Caelia grinned reluctantly. "So, you're going to, like, spy on us? But because of friendship? Alright, then." She looked back at her phone and wrote, "would the library work?"

“Well isn’t that how friendship works?” Samantha joked as she grabbed her books, “It’s to put you at ease too. So take a few deep breaths! I’ll be by the fantasy section.”

Thats perfect! I’m super close to there!” Evangeline groaned slightly as she pulled herself off her bed, fixing her hair and leaving her room. She immediately headed to the library, a smile on her face, waving to people she passed.

@Simon-Says

Caelia laughed quietly, putting her phone in her pocket and running her fingers through her hair to try to make it ever so slightly less of a mess.

Evangeline found her way to the library, walking in as quietly as she could. She didn’t want to disturb anyone, not that many people appeared to be there. She poked around for a bit before she spotted Caelia, sneaking up from behind. Evangeline put her hands on Caelia’s shoulders, whispering, “Boo!” In the poor girls ear.

@Simon-Says

Caelia managed not to jump, smiling instead. "I'm not quite that jumpy," she told Evangeline. Sam did that ridiculously often, and she'd gotten used to it.

Evangeline grinned widely, stepping around to the side of her. “I see that! I thought you might’ve been jumpy… I’ll mark that off the bucket list of things to do.” She took a seat at the table, yawning. “But now that that’s out of the way, why have I been summoned to the library, so to speak? What is it you wanted to tell me in person?”

@Simon-Says

"I don't- I don't know, I just don't like texting," she tugged at a curl before speaking again. "I guess this is just my permission for us to be friends," she laughed. "Which I probably could've just texted, but I didn't really think about it while I was typing, and so anyway now I've wasted your time, sorry about that."

@Simon-Says

(Bump?)
