Alex glanced at the nearest clock. They only had a couple minutes, and two more halls to get through.
"Hot damn on a cracker," he muttered.

A minute of intense running later, Felix saw the classroom just a bit farther down the corridor. The door was still open, meaning that they hopefully hadn't started class yet. "C'mon!" He yelled to Alex.

Alex ran towards the room, a smile creeping on his face.
"We're gonna make it!"

"Yeah, but we look like sweaty idiots," Felix commented as they slowed down in front of the door.

"Well, that can't be helped." Alex smiled, huffing slightly. He motioned to the door.
"You first. I insist."

"Dork," Felix muttered, smiling slightly. He walked in the classroom. Only two seats were not taken. He sat down on one of them, trying to make as little sound as possible. The teacher gave him an annoyed look.

Alex sat in the other, giving the teacher an apologetic smile. He sighed, setting his things down and slouching in his seat.

Half an hour later, Felix poured some kind of slightly green-ish liquid into a test tube. He had a white lab coat stained from years of stupid students dropping things on it, and a pair of scratched goggles to protect his eyes. The experiment were supposed to have reacted by now, but nope. "What is this even supposed to teach us?" He complained to Alex. "Like, when am I actually gonna use this knowledge? Oh fuck knowledge, actually. I don't even know what this shit is."

"Oh comm'on, we all know they only make us do this to try and make us learn something new."

"True, but is it really helpfull if I never actually learn something?" Felix poured the content of three test tubes into another jar. It started to shift colors and smell really bad. He schrunched his nose. "Ew. Now I have learned how to make a stinky mess. Great."

"Well, that's not really new information for us."

Felix snorted out a laugh. "True, very true."

Alex pulled another breaker over to himself, pouring his vial into it. It started bubbling over, foam spilling onto the table.
"Crap."

Felix smiled. "A very good choice of word, my friend." He grabbed a dishcloth, sweeping the foam off the table into an empty jar, careful not to actually touch any of it. "Remind me to never let you be a chemist."

"Yeah…" Alex chuckled, setting the vial down gently. This class was a total bust.
"The thing that gets me is that cooking is basically chemistry. I'm a great cook, why the hell can't I do this?"

"Maybe it is because you can taste your food? I mean, when you cook you taste the food to see if it is good and what needs to be added, but I'm pretty sure you would die if you tasted this shit." Felix started cleaning one of the test tubes. "I can't do any kind of chemistry though. Not food, not this… and absolutely not personal chemistry."

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean anything to me. If much rather have one real friend than a hundred 'friends.'" He made air quotes. Chuckling, he got up to dispose of their failed experiments.

Felix closed his locker with a loud bang. "Okay, 3 hours and 15 minutes of romance, annoyingly cute scenes and people falling of a ship screaming starts in just a couple of hours. Your house or my house?" He grabbed his backpack.

Alex hefted his over stuffed backpack onto his shoulders.
"Well, the disc is at my house, so I was thinking there."

"M'kay. Great. Let's go, then." Felix walked over to the door that would ger him out of the hellhole that was called school.

"Let me think. I think- YES. Yes, you will. I am 100 percent sure that you will." Felix laughed a bit. Sometimes he felt like he knew Alex better than he knew himself.

"I guess I have to, yeah." Felix smiled a bit. He honestly looked forward to it. Titanic was a really good movie, and he liked spending time with Alex.
