Alex opens his eyes with a yawn. After a few seconds he responds “…yeah…you got anything?”

He hands him a plate.

“Thanks” He gave him a small smile.

He smiled back. "No problem."

“How am I still so tired…” he mumbled to himself.

"You just woke up. And you look like you needed the sleep."

“Honestly. I don’t think I slept yesterday…? Oh wait I did. Just not much.”

Landyn sighed. "You should rest for today."

“I’ll be fine” he protested even as he stifled a yawn.

"After you eat you rest. That's final.''

“But I don’t wanna sleep…” he protested quietly.

"Please…"

“…okay…”

"Thank you," he said petting his head softly trying not to make him flinch.

He was able to take it rather calmly, his heartbeat only speeding up for a second.

Landyn sits next to him and eats.

Alex gave him a curious look before starting to eat.

He coughed a little and sat the plate down. he goes over and grabs a picture.

“You okay?” He asked quietly.

"Yeah," he said smiling softly and showed him the picture of him and is family.

He smiled softly at him.

"That's them…My parents.

“They look like they were nice”

"They were wonderful"

“I’m sorry you had to lose them…”

"It's not your fault."

“I know that…but it’s still a terrible thing to go through.”

Landyn laid his head on Alex's shoulder. "I'll be ok…"

“…did you ever go to therapy for all this stuff?” He asked out of curiosity.

"Tried…Made things worse."
