"I-I saw him die…I'm sure of it…"

“I don’t know Landyn…is there any possibility he was just in critical condition?” He asked softly, not wanting to upset him.

"I was at the hospital when they…" Landyn sat up. "when 'They' said he died."

“Landyn? You’ve lost me…”

He looked at him. "The cord…Wasn't attached…His heart wasn't being monitored."

“So you’re saying he was really alive this whole time? Why would they lie to you?”

"I-I don't know…What about mom?" he was panicking.

Alex realized this and tried to calm him down “panicking won’t help right now. Maybe he was in witness protection program or something…we’ll only know for sure if we talk to him.”

"…I-I…" He nods slowly.

“But you don’t have to until you’re ready…”

"Tomorrow…We can try tomorrow."

“Okay, whatever you want babe.” He lightly kissed his cheek.

Landyn lays back down and looks up at him.

Alex lays down next to him. “Crap it’s not night time yet is it?”

"No…But i just wanna relax and not deal with life."

“Okay.” He grabbed his bag off the ground, pulling out his sketchbook.

Landyn hummed the notes to the song he was writing br=efore he broke the ukelele.

Alex smiled slightly, and began flipping through his sketchbook. He paused, stopping on the pages he’d drawn right after Nate’s ‘visit’ the other day. His smile quickly disappeared.

"What is it, Alex?"

“N-nothing…” He was unable to stop staring at all that he drew that day. It was probably meaningless to anyone else but….

"Show meeee." he whined

“No” he responded firmly, quickly slamming the sketchbook closed.

Landynn flinched then turned away. Great you made him mad…

He was visibly shaking now, and as he reached a hand up to touch his face, he realized he had started crying.

Landyn could feel the shaking. When he turned to see him cry he reacted fast by hugging him trying to wipe his tears away. "T-Ths is my fault…"

Alex flinched, a small scream escaping his throat at the contact. Alex wished he could tell Landyn that this wasn’t at all his fault but all he could do was cry.

Landyn backed away. "…I-I should leave you alone…" He starts to get up.

“P-please!” His voice was desperate “p-p-please don’t leave me….”

"…" Landyns heart broke. "W-What's wrong, love?" He sits next to. He was afraid if he touched him he would brak into pieces.

All the bad memories were forcing their way back into his brain. “Why did he have to hurt me Landyn?” He sobbed.
