Rowan hid his face in a pillow. “You’re not allowed to bring him up!” He yelled dramatically. “That was my dark past!”
Colleen laughed. “You’re such a drama queen. You never had a dark past.”

"drop your tone harrow, I'm still your mother," she sighed softly "he was probably just nervous and that's was his reaction."
"He wasn't nervous, he knew exactly what he was doing." Harrow growled softly "mom I need time to think. Can we talk later?"
Harrow's mother stiffened but she nodded "I'll come by tomorrow,"
"Just call."
“I do have a dark past. And Alex is a part of it so you aren’t allowed to mention him.” Rowan muttered into the pillow.
She just shook her head and rolled over on top of him. “Fine, fine. So tell me more about this Harrow guy. I would’ve never pinned you to be the rebel child of the family.”
Harrow went to his room and found petals and a note "I promise you this and more at our honeymoon, from Zander."harrow threw everything in the garbage feeling invaded and stalked. "He had the damn audacity to come in my room," he muttered angrily, taking a pillow and heading to the couch to sleep
“Well I met him like a week ago at work and he’s super cute and really amazing and-“
Colleen suddenly cut him off with a gasp. “He’s not the one who’s engaged to that asshole Zander, is he? Oh my god he totally is! Rowan! You’re dating an engaged guy!”
Rowan rolled his eyes and tried to shove her off of him. “I’m not. He was forced with Zander against his will at the charity ball. Trust me. He hates Zander as much as the rest of us.”
Harrowed lied back on the couch and pulled out his sketchbook, trying to come up with something to draw. He sighed softly and drew the same two lovers at a beach
“I guess that’s fine. Just be careful, Ro. I don’t like seeing you get hurt.”
Rowan wrapped his arms around her and began tickling her. “I’ll be fine, trust me.”
Harrow fell asleep with pencil in hand, not being able to keep his eyes open much longer

Rowan had most of his stuff packed up in boxes. Now it was just the problem of moving it all to his apartment in his small car. He sighed and started carrying them out and setting them in the trunk and backseat with the help of his mom, who was happily chatting away about some drama about her sister.
Harrow sat on the steps of Rowan's apartment completely exhausted from sleeping on the couch the past three nights but still ready to help Rowan move in.
"*I'm outside the apartment, ya coming?"
yeah!! I’m already here, just come around to the back of the building. We actually decided to get started yesterday cause my friend Tyler offered to help me, so here’s not much left :) He texted back before carrying up another box with a sigh, smiling at the thought of seeing Harrow.
Harrow stood up and walked around the corner and down the street a bit to find Rowan carrying boxes to the door "hey! I didn't know you were here," he we to Rowan's car and grabbed a few boxes to bring inside
“I would’ve texted you before if I knew you were coming.” Rowan replied with a grin, leaning over a box and kissing Harrow quickly. “This is Tyler by the way,” he gestured to the guy helping them. He had a strong build and pale, almost white hair with streaks of blue. Tyler glanced over at him with a friendly smile. “Rowan’s been talking about you practically all day.” He said, nudging Rowan’s shoulder as he passed.
Harrow smiled at Tyler and laughed softly "really? All good things I hope." He teased, setting down the boxes and heading out for more
Rowan made a noise of protest and almost tripped up the steps. “Of course they were good things. I couldn’t talk bad about you if I tried.” He smiled down at Harrow and winked at him. “I talk about other things too though.”
Tyler laughed and shut his car door with the last box in his arms. “Yeah, just about how Chelsea is going to beat Manchester on Sunday which is bullshit.”
Rowan spluttered and began arguing playfully with him as they climbed the stairs.
Harrow blushed and laughed again, tilting his head in question "I'm guessing that's sports? Right?" He asked Tyler
“Yeah, soccer.” Tyler answered with a smile, setting the box down and leaning against the doorframe. “We both played in high school. And our team was the best.” Rowan added, hugging Harrow from behind and setting his head on Harrows shoulder.
Harrow smiled at the pride in their voices and kissed Rowan's cheek "I'm not much of a sports person but that's pretty cool."
“Yeah it was. Hey, I have somewhere to be so I’ll see you later, Ro.” Tyler said, glancing down at his phone and heading towards the elevator. “It was nice to meet you Harrow.” He waved happily as he left.
Rowan waved back and leaned his head towards Harrows, sighing softly with a smile. “I thought you had to talk to your mom today?”
Harrow waved back before resting his head on Rowan's "uhm…something came up the other day so I haven't gotten around to talking to her yet." He said softly
Rowan frowned slightly and took his hand to lead them into his apartment. He sat down on the ground after closing the door and gestured for Harrow to come sit with him. “What happened? Is everything okay?”
He reluctantly sat down and shook his head slightly "he came to the apartment," he said softly
Rowan took Harrow’s hands and pulled him close. “Wait, Zander?! He came to your apartment, just..wait? Today?!”
"no, a few nights ago with my mom. They wanted to discuss the wedding arrangements and the new date. I forced them both to leave. When I was heading to bed, I found petals on the bed along with a note." He glanced away "he went into my room…a place that's private, where I sleep, and made it his."
Rowan growled quietly and ran his hand gently through Harrow’s hair. “I would’ve moved earlier so you could stay here, if I knew he had come. What a horrible, disgusting—Wait? New date? Did they reschedule the so called ‘wedding’??”
Harrow leaned into Rowan's hand "it's not your fault. I couldn't have asked you to move in faster even if I knew he was coming and yeah instead of two months they moved it to three."
“Well, you’re always welcome here, darling.” Rowan said softly, kissing the top of his head. “But we don’t have to worry about him now, okay? There’s time to sort things out.”
"Three months is not a long time. Plus I have a feeling I'll see him again.." he wrapped his arm around himself "I won't ask that of you. You're moving in and need time to unpack. I'd just be a nucance."
