He stroked Rowan's cheek with his free hand and shook his head slightly with a smile "is this going to be a reoccurring argument between us my love?" he asked, tracing the curve of his lips with his thumb

"Yes. And I'm going to win. Because you're amazing and talented and the best fiance ever." He said, kissing Harrows palm as they walked back into the bedroom.
"then this is going to last for a while now." he laughed softly and gently pulled away to look through the closet for clothes to change into
Rowan hummed happily and kissed the back for Harrow's neck, taking some clothes out for himself. "It'll last until the day I die. If it takes me that long to convince you."
Harrow hummed at the kiss and glanced over his shoulder at him "it probably will." he nuzzled Rowan's neck before heading to the bathroom to change into the white fluffy sweatshirt and jeans he had found
Rowan got dressed in a hoodie and skinny jeans, laying on the bed until Harrow was finished, humming quietly to himself and scrolling through his phone.
Harrow came out of the bathroom and leaned over Rowan's head "ready to go baby?" he asked softly, pressing a kiss to his lips
"Yes!" He exclaimed, jumping up and grabbing his bag along with Harrow's hand. "Are we driving? Or walking?"
“Driving, it’s a bit of a far walk.” Harrow followed Rowan with a beaming smile. He grabbed the keys before shutting the door and jumping into the car
Rowan followed him cheerfully, smiling back with just as much happiness."I didn't think we'd actually go through with this. But I'm really happy we are." He thought out loud, gazing out the window.
"Me neither but I'm very glad we did. Let's hope everything works out well and that we can take her home today." Harrow took Rowan's hand in his own and pressed a kiss to the back of it before lacing them together and driving off to the adoption center
Rowan nodded and kissed Harrow’s hand affectionately. “It’ll be like starting a little family.” He murmured, gazing out the window at passing cars.
Harrow smiled adoringly and nodded “yeah it will be.” He drive for a while before pulling into a secluded driveway with a large house. He got out and opened the car door for Rowan
Rowan got out of the car and took his hand, looking around them. "This place is huge.." He said quietly, "Do people live here?"
“Yeah, I’m assuming the owners as well as the dogs.” He laced their hands together and walked up to the door. He knocked softly and laughed when he heard dogs barking
“one moment!”
Rowan hummed softly, squeezing Harrow’s hand as they waited for the owners.
The doors opened to reveal an older woman with a few dogs around her “Ah you must be Harrow and Rowan. Please come in come in! I’m so glad you’ve decided to adopt one of our dogs! She waved to a large couch in a sitting “please sit while I go get the girl of The hour.” Harrow smiled politely and nodded in thanks before crouching near the couch to play with the dogs
Rowan resisted the urge to start jumping up and down. Instead, he joined Harrow with the dogs, smiling at his fiancé with pure joy.
“Oh my gawdddd! Can we just take all of you home?” He cooed, playing with the dogs as they sniffed around and licked Harrow’s and Rowan’s hands and face. He sat down and let the larger dogs tumble into of him. One of the dogs rolled on his side, looking for attention. Harrow rubbed his belly and smiled happily “Aw hi big boy! Aren’t you adorable?”
Rowan giggled and picked up a smaller puppy, letting it roll around in his lap while he pet it. “This one looks like you.” He teased, showing Harrow the puppy.
Harrow was lying on the floor with one of the dogs on top of him, happily petting it as it snuggled against him. He peeked over and at Rowan when he showed him the dog and smiled “and I’m pretty sure I found you,” he pointed to the dog on top of him and started laughing when it licked his face
Rowan laughed and gazed at him lovingly, watching the littler dog sniff at the larger one on top of Harrow. It nudged the larger dog, bouncing up and down a little and trying to play with it.
The larger dog looked back at the puppy and woofed softly, getting off of Harrow and trotting around the puppy. Harrow sat up with a laugh and brushed out the fur from his jacket. “Bad idea to wear dark colors today.” He laughed and watched the dogs play as well as glancing over at Rowan
Rowan laughed softly, standing up and having a seat in a chair with Harrow. He leaned against him and sighed happily. “This past week has been amazing. No Zander, no parent drama. And now we’re getting a dog..” he commented, grinning at Harrow and kissing his cheek.
"Yes, yes it very much has been." he leaned into Rowan and pulled him closer as the dogs played before him.
After a while the lady came back with a small husky. "Alright, Rowan, Harrow, meet Sugar!" he let the leash drop and the little dog bounded towards them with a little bark
Rowan gasped and let the little dog jump up onto their laps, petting and scratching her behind the ears. “She’s so cute!!” He exclaimed happily.
"oh my gosh she is!!!" Harrow cooed, petting the puppy and letter her lick his face "Love I think you're in truble." he teased, looking over at Rowan
Rowan pouted for a second but giggled when Sugar licked his face. “I love her!” He grinned, leaning against Harrow.
"so do I!" he laughed softly and gladly accepted treats from the lady. He calmed the puppy down enough to have her sit and gave her treats for every time she did a command correctly.
Rowan watched, his eyes sparkling happily. “How complicated is it to adopt her?” He asked, resting his foot against Harrow’s.
