(I haven’t either but I want to so bad)
gay-thic lit anyone? (o/o)
(Me too! Also, Zagreus from Hades hates his dad, thematic for the original story.)
(Yesssss theeemmmmeeeeeesss hehe)
(haha themes go brrrr.)
(Anyways wouldn't it be neat if with the power of two CERTAIN idiot scientists the apocalypse starts? On accident though.)
(Ajsksak I mean…)
(Fyi working on an art commission)
(Oh, neat!)
He nodded. “That’s good. And if you’re right and the creature is desperate to talk to me, then it shouldn’t be a problem. Although…” he grimaced. “I can only imagine what might’ve happened that could keep his mouth shut.”
At the moment, his hair was out of its usual ponytail, and he ran his fingers through it, fluffing it up a little. He still did not know how to feel about the creature… Ishtar. Her arrival had been so sudden.
“I mostly just want to talk to the creature for now,” he said. “So many questions.”
Anna nodded, and when she'd led him downstairs, she let him go to allow him to follow into the guest room where Ishtar slept peacefully, and the creature looked anything but peaceful. He looked over to Robert with a sad expression on his face, and stood up to allow him to sit in the chair where the cushion underneath the creature had depressed greatly. "Sit," he grunted, and that was all he said as he moved to sit on the floor, closer to Ishtar. He watched her closely, if anything bad happened it would be his fault and he would die before letting anything bad happen. He was so tired of being held responsible for so much pain, even though he'd been the cause. Poor William, Justine, Henry, Elizabeth… so many bodies. He would have killed the DeLaceys too, have he not had more self control at the time, he knew. And he wished he could die for it.
(Are half my characters actively suicidal if only for the fact that they have people to protect and thus need to stay alive, if only for them? Why yes, I say, yes they are. Um… oh dear.)

(anyways here's my last post in case you didn't see it and it got lost.)
(Big oof. And yes, I did see it)
(cool, and idk I just feel the need to project onto these guys big-time.)
(Oh, same tho. Half of Robert’s internal monologue is a verbal incarnation of my insecurities)
(I mean valid dude.)
(Anyways, I might need to go to bed soon so if I don't respond immediately then that's why.)
Why did Robert think that the creature wouldn’t be with Ishtar? Even he didn’t know. He obliged, sitting in the chair without a word. Looking upon the poor souls, he felt the anger return. Victor, for the love of God, did they ask to be brought to life? Has that ever occurred to you?
No, of course not. His jaw clenched. “You wanted to talk to me?” He tried. “Do you want to explain what happened?”
(Sure)
(I can respond for a little longer but idk. Sorry.)
The creature shook his head. He didn't want to talk about it, not really. "Why did Victor bring me to life? Just so he could see an innocent being suffer by his hand?" he asked. "Hardly innocent now, I would think." he grumbled, shifting a little so he could properly face Robert while still keeping an eye on Ishtar.
(No worries my dude. My time is limited as well hehe)
He sighed. “He’s a curious soul with no sense of forethought. And as I recall, he didn’t want to see you at all. The moment he was faced with the consequences of his actions, he ran away. As I see it, he brought you to life because he failed to see the boundaries of what he should and shouldn’t do. If he did, then creating you wouldn’t even be a passing thought. He made you suffer, but the last thing he wanted was to be a witness of it, and of you entirely.”
The creature almost cried at that. "I… thank you. Can I have your advice on something?" he asked, then continued. "Is Ishtar my lover, or my sister? I cannot quite conceive Victor making her for any other purpose than the former, but if Victor is my father, and he made me, and he made Ishtar… would that not make me her brother? I don't quite know. We are hardly related by blood, so that is no factor in the nature of our relationship, and yet I would feel that us acting like lovers would, especially in her current state, be quite… abhorrent. I would not wish to take advantage of someone that I have a sense of kinship with, but then what would be her purpose if not as a truce with me? What is my purpose, furthering that remark?" he asked, turning his face away so Robert wouldn't see him cry. "Wh-what should I do? I, I can't do this! This was supposed to be simple and now it isn't anymore and I just…" he'd completely broken down. He could never see Ishtar as his bride, if only because he wanted to hold onto the last threads of decency he had left.
(Creature having a crisis because he did not think the whole "bride" thing though. I blame Miss Shelley.)
(abshdggsg my heart)
(Also this version of the Creature is babey and I love him/them)
(I am debating on whether or not to give creechur a gender crisis as well because like legit I find it so hard to use he/him for them because,,, monsters nonbinary. I don't make the rules.)
(But yes he is babey.)
group
(Robin: Nods aggressively in agreement)
(Who is Robin btw? But yes, agreement good.)
(We love Creatureeeeee yes he needs a hug-)
group
(Oh they're just one of my characters (based on Robin Goodfellow from A Midsummer Night's Dream); they're not exactly a monster but they've got some powerful magic and general chaos)
