"Who knows? What if we don't deserve this beauty; what if this is all just a dream?" Jaclyn answered, but with more questions then they started with. After a short pause she added, "If it is just a dream, I hope I never wake up."
As soon as Jaclyn said that, Sammy looked scared, "It's almost, too good to be true…" She suddenly starting checking everything, as if looking for a glitch in the system.

Jaclyn noticed Sammy's action. "Relax, it's just a theory. Who knows, this could be real life after all."
"But now I'm not so sure…" Sammy trails off.
school
Jaclyn looked at Sammy, worried. "Ah, I probably shouldn't've said anything in the first place… all I've done is scare you."
"I don't remember what real life ever was Jac." Sammy starts.
school
Sammy's use of a nickname for her startled Jaclyn, she hadn't expected that she would give her a nickname. But it didn't startle her that much, and it didn't bother her either. "What do you mean?" she asked, not understanding what Sammy was saying.
"I don't remember what was reality and what was fake anymore!" Sammy says, almost completely snapping. "Sorry." she whispers.
school
The sudden change in tone surprised her, and Jaclyn didn't bother to hide it. What was the point? She stayed quiet for a while after Sammy's quick apology, finally saying, "…it's fine."
"I'm going to try and sleep…" Sammy says, climbing down from the tree.

Jaclyn looked at Sammy, nodding, "…okay then," and started following her down the tree. To be fair, the sky was darkening. Time flies by quickly, she thought to herself, noticing a couple of stars that had come out early.
Sammy suddenly felt cold and started violently shivering. No longer being able to hold onto the branches and falls down the tree, landing on the ground and instantly blacks out.
school
"Um… Sammy? Are you okay?" Jaclyn asked, looking down at her. She started feeling scared, afraid of falling when she looked down though and instead of continuing down she just clung to the branch, afraid to keep going.
Sammy doesn't move, she can't. The ringing in her ears gets louder and louder until it is deafening.
school
Jaclyn's hands started to sweat, and she lost her grip on the branch she was holding onto, letting out a scream of fear as she fell. Luckily, she landed on her feet, no major harm done, her ankle ached a little bit. She ignored the pain, though she was breathing heavily from the scare, and adrenaline was rushing through her veins, her heart beating like crazy. She got down on all fours, making her way towards Sammy. Shaking her by the shoulders a tiny bit, she asked again, "Are you okay Sammy?"
Sammy hears Jaclyn, but can't respond. She doesn't move.
school
"Sammyyyyyy come on!" Jaclyn prodded, getting really worried now.
(just DRAG HER SOMEWHERE! aha)
school
(Lol okay)
Jaclyn looked up as a drop of water landed on her forehead and saw storm clouds heading in, and though she really didn't want to, she thought it would be safer to drag Sammy into the cave with the mysterious creature.
Sammy comes to with her head throbbing. She sees that she is in the cave, but doesn't know how she got there. She turns to see a figure coming towards her and she tries to back away, terrified of what it might do to her.

"Hey, hey, you're awake! What's wrong? What happened?" Jaclyn asked, her voice betraying her feelings of worry.
