"Mourning sweeps the nation as the death of our beloved Noah Reeves is announced." No one knows mourning like I do. Now that I've lost my brother, I have no family. "The events of his death are currently disclosed." Yeah, cause I don't want anyone to know. "America's thoughts and prayers go to Noah's only living family, his younger sister Jamie-Leigh." I don't need your thoughts and prayers. Right now, I just need Seb.

Jamie-Leigh Reeves and Sebastian Walters have always been close. They never went anywhere without the other, and they were two peas in a pod. Over time, they started dating, which was really no surprise to the people around them.
Noah Reeves, Jamie-Leigh's older brother, was the sweetheart of the nation. The Reeves' family was always rich, but Noah sky rocketed that. Everyone loved it, and Jamie-Leigh hated it. But she pretended. Only Seb knew how she felt.
She wished for the day it would be over. When it would all end. She just didn't expect it to happen so suddenly. And not in the form of her brother's death.

So yeah. I had this idea from watching an animatic. Don't ask me which one: I won't tell you (probably cause I won't remember).
I am going to be Jamie-Leigh, only for the sake of this needing to go the way I need it to.

Appearance: Jami always tried to steer away from the normality of her family. They were pristine and perfect, and Jami hated it. So she changed, but also stayed the same. She shaved part of her hair and dyed it dark blue. She got piercings and always wore a little bit of makeup. Her pale, freckled skin stayed the same, as did her somehow naturally plump lips. Style: Jami’s style has never really been set. She wears depending on what she’s feeling. This typically comprises of block-heeled boots, jumpers and jeans.
Personality: Jami is defiant, confident and simple. She hates being told what to do and always tries to push against it. When in the right mind set, she is humorous, kind and caring. She appears rebellious to her family and ‘servants’ because of how she acts.

Background: Jami never liked her family. They were too perfect, and she hated that. She only liked Noah, but then he became ‘The Nation’s Sweetheart’. When they were young, their parents died. So, they were looked after their maids, butlers and the likes. Jami hated it, but she was glad her parents were gone. Jami focused on her music and her relationship with Seb after that.
The one person from Jami’s life that is now gone is her Grandmother, Jamie-Leigh, who she was named after. Jamie-Leigh recently died, and Jami’s only consolation is the fact that Jamie-Leigh wants to be seen by her granddaughter.

Special power: Jami can see spirits and trails of magic. While a normal person’s view might be just that: normal, Jami’s view is ‘plagued’ (as she calls it) with trails of mostly reds, purples and blues. She figured out a little while ago that it is actually magic. She can also see spirits, but not all the time. Normally, it is only the spirit of a family member, and only if they want to be seen. Sometimes, she sees a spirit floating behind a family member that they desperately want to be seen by. Basically, she can only see spirits if they want to be seen.

He's an average height (5'11") and has a few muscles, he's quite lean though and doesn't really mind. His lips are somewhere between thin and normal sized and his nose is quite hard to explain. His face is thinner and makes him appear slightly younger than he is. His skin is a light color and he has a few faint freckles on his face.
Style: Really whatever is closest to him when he gets dressed. He's not to picky about anything matching or going together and the only time he'll be dressed in an actual picked out set of clothes is when he really needs to look good for something or someone picks something out for him
Personality: Sebastian is interesting, he's very fidgety and is always messing with things. He stutters slightly when he has to talk in front of people and he naturally shys away from crowds. his mind is always whirring and moving quicker than he can keep up to, he loves to doodle as well and don't get him started about any of his projects or ideas (You'll be stuck there for hours). He's always had a lightly romantic side, but it tends to be pushed away since he's always working. He hates loud, unexplained noises and tends to flinch if someone pretends to hit him or someone nearby. More TBD

Background: He's had a rough life to say the least, his parents had a divorce when he was young and it caused his mother to become quite abusive. He always had liked his father more and tended to stay at his house when he was a kid. When he met Jamie he instantly thought of her as the best friend he could have. He got a scholarship to study at a nearby college and now he's going there, designing things and having the time of his life. When Noah died, Sebastian felt like he had lost a brother, it crushed him but he stayed strong for Jamie.

"Where are you going, ma cherie?" Jamie-Leigh asked, as Jami packed up a back pack.
"Anywhere but here," Jami replied to her grandmother's spirit.
"Why? Because Noah died?"
"Yeah, because Noah died. I just want to be with Seb." She walked downstairs.
"Where are you going, Mistress Reeves?" Talia the butler asked.
"None of your business." Jami put her hood over her head, putting in her earphones. "And I keep telling you to call me Jami." She walked out of the house and called Seb.

Sebastian was hard at work in his homemade 'shop' of sorts. It was really just a small extra room in his apartment that he put all of his supplies in, though it worked quite well for the engineering projects he designed. There was some type of older pop and rock playing in the background and he hummed along, a pencil tucked behind his ear as he continued to build his little machine. He was wearing a pair of rumpled sweatpants along with an equally wrinkly shirt, an empty bowl sat on the floor near the door and he soon heard his phone ring. A small smile appeared on his face when he saw it was Jami and he paused his music, putting her call on speakerphone, "Hello?" He said, getting back to work.

"Yeah, hey. Um…I really need to be near you right now," Jami said bluntly, walking along the streets. "I can't stand being at home and people are staring at me with sympathy. I hate it." She tried to avoid everyone's sympathetic glances, pulling her hood further down. Her blue hair fell in front of her eyes, almost the exact shade of her irises. "Are you free?"

"You should know the answer to that question Jami. Of course I'm free but I'm working on a project." A small bolt fell onto the table and he instinctively winced from the noise, putting his screwdriver between his teeth as he picked the bolt back up and put it back in place. "I'm in my workroom." He said through the screwdriver, which came out more like "I'n vn iy weorkrom."

Jami let out a small laugh, right as it started to rain. "You haven't gotten rid of your drum kit, have you?" She asked, wanting to drum her feelings out. Music had become a way for her to express as a child and it was now more than ever that she needed it. "I really just need to drum everything out of my head."

He shook his head, "Nope, I still have it," He tightened the bolt back onto his machine and set the screwdriver down with a small smile. "Do you want me to set it up in the main room?" The drum kit was safely tucked away as of that moment and Sebastian would have to wrestle it out of where it was buried.

Jami glared at all the people sending her places. "Can you? That would be amazing." She looked up as a news story started playing on the big screen in the square. She recognised it immediatly. Please don't show my face.… And they showed my face.

"I can do that, see ya in a little bit?" He grabbed his phone and walked out of his workroom, setting his phone down as he started to wrestle the drum kit out and bring it to the main room.

"Yeah, see you," Jami said as Seb hung up. Almost instantly, it felt like all eyes were on her as her face was displayed on the big screen. She flipped the finger at most of them and then put her music on. The music was loud in her earphones and drowned out her surroundings, just the way she liked.

He finished somewhat quickly and flopped onto his worn out couch to wait, looking around the small apartment. He liked it here but it was getting a little small, causing him to sigh as he thought about how much it would cost to move.

Jami walked into the store and bought a drink. The server gave her a sympathetic look, which Jami returned with a finger as she opened the drink and took a sip. It didn't take long for her to reach Seb's apartment block, a place that had become a second home to her over the years. She walked up the few flights of stairs to reach his apartment and knocked on the door, blue hair falling over her eye.

"Come in!" He shouted, still laying on his couch. His eyes were half closed but he shot up, jogging to the door incase she hadn't heard him. The drum kit was set up and he had made sure there were two sets of sticks and a pair of earplugs there so she wouldn't go deaf.

Jami waited for the door to open. As soon as it did, she pulled Seb into a hug, burying her face in his chest. Her blue hair pushed itself out of her face as it was pushed against Seb's body. Jami suddenly felt calmer and safer, more relaxed.

Sebastian froze for a second before wrapping his arms around her, pulling her closer, "Are you ok?" He asked softly, walking away from the door and into the apartment. He closed the door with his foot and hugged her tighter.

Jami nodded. "I just wanted to hug you," She whispered. "It feels right." She breathed a sigh of relief, content in Seb's arms. He'd always been able to comfort her in a way her family couldn't.

"I understand." He said quietly, resting his head on hers, "Your drumset is set up." He pulled away slightly and smiled at her, comforting his girlfriend, "I'll be in my workroom if you need anything, but you already know you can help yourself to anything in here."

"Thanks, Seb," Jami said, pecking him on the cheek. She walked over to the familiar drum kit and sat down on the familiar stool, picking up the familiar drum sticks and running her hands over the familiar drums. She felt at home.

He smiled and touched his cheek, almost like he couldn't believe she had kissed him even though she had before. He glanced at her one last time before heading to his workroom, shutting the door behind himself as he got back to work on what looked like a small robot.
