Jami started to play a tune. Even though she was the one playing it, she couldn't place the tune. But she liked it. It matched what she was feeling in a way she couldn't describe in words.
Gone // One-On-One // CLOSED
Sebastian could hear her playing from his workroom and he smiled, her music helping him concentrate on his project just a little more.
Jami felt the music and flowed with it. There were times when she played a song from memory, others when she simply let her hands do the work. Whichever one happened, she was relaxed.
He tapped his foot and continued working, adding the proper pieces where they were needed and diging through his pile of supplies to find the right items.
Slowly, Jami started to recognise the tune. She started to sing the lyrics softly, which calmed her down a little bit.
"Done." He said proudly, nodding at his little robot statue that he made. He picked it up and walked out of his workshop, holding it carefully as he entered the main room to show Jami.
Jami closed her eyes, letting her hands do the work. A voice suddenly whispered in her ears, and she recognised it immediately. "You need to let me go, J."

(it's noah
Seb can't see him)

Jami closed her eyes, letting her hands do the work. A voice suddenly whispered in her ears, and she recognised it immediately. "You need to let me go, J."
Sebastian walked into the main room and smiled at Jami, holding out the robot, "Jami, I finished," He saw that she was distant at the moment and he went quiet, sitting down on the couch as he waited for her to be done.
Jami didn't hear Seb, too caught up in her emotions. "Iā¦I can't." She whispered.
"You have to move on," The voice came again. Suddenly Jami dropped her sticks with what felt like an earth shattering clack as she burst into tears. She pulled her hoodie over her head, bringing her head to her knees.
Immediately Sebastian set his robot down and rushed to Jami, pulling her against him. "Jami? Are you ok?" He asked softly, rocking her back and forth to try to calm her down, "What's wrong? Is there any way I can help?"
"You can't bring Noah back," Jami choked. "You can't help me let go of him. You can't help me stop seeing his spirit. You can't help me ignore everything."
"But I can try my best." He said, scooping her into his arms and walking to the couch. He made sure his robot wasn't going to get crushed before sitting down and holding her in his arms, "You want to see what I just finished making?" He asked softly.
(sorry this didn't get answered til now
It's been open on my phone and I completely forgot to reply)
Jami was scared to open her eyes, as she wouldn't be able to stand it if she suddenly saw Noah in front of her. She didn't answer.
(That's fine)
He saw that she wasn't going to answer and he nodded, picking up his robot, "Anyway, here it is," he smiled softly, "I made it for you, it's just like a toy robot you could get from the store, but this one has a twist."
She felt a cold, wispy hand on her shoulder and pushed further into Seb. The last thing Jami wanted to see right now was Noah's spirit, but as long as he wanted her to see him, she would.
He kept one of his arms wrapped around her, keeping her close, "This one can play music if you record it, any song that you make or download you can make him play. He has a secret compartment here." He pushed a small panel to the side on the back of the small robot to reveal a compartment, "And he can recognise your voice and anyone else that you have him record. I haven't put any voices into it, incase you don't want mine in there, and there's only one song on it, your favorite song."
Jami tilted her head slightly to look up at Seb, her blue eyes speaking without words. She loved that he was passionate about these things, and always loved what he came up with.
He smiled and turned the robot around in his hands, holding it out for her to take, "I was going to name him Data, but if you want to name him something else go ahead." He looked down at her and smiled sheepishly, "Sorry..I'm probably being super nerdy right now.."
Jami took it in her hands. "If you weren't nerdy, I probably wouldn't love you as much as I do. And I think Byte serves him better."
Sebastian looked at Jami and smiled, "Then Byte it is," He said, looking around the apartment. "Do you want to watch a movie or something?" He asked, "Or should I make you some food?"
Jami slid off Seb's lap, looking out. She saw Noah's spirit standing in the hallway, but ignored it this time. "I could watch a movie."
He nodded, "Any in particular? I'll make popcorn if you pick the movie." Sebastian motioned to his shelf of movies that he had, liking the idea of being able to choose a movie in a case better than picking one on the actual TV.
Jami knew the case like the back of her hand. Not wanting to get up, Jami used her magic to pull one over to her. She then used her magic to open the DVD player and put the disk in.
He stood up and walked to his small kitchen, putting a bag of popcorn into the microwave and starting it, "What movie did you choose?" He asked as he waited for the popcorn to finish.
"I thought we could watch Moana," Jami said. It had always been her favourite movie.
He smiled and nodded, "That's a pretty good movie," He said. Sebastian had always been a fan of action movies more than animated ones, but he always kept some Disney movies on his shelf incase Jami came over.
