(Oh shoot, I forgot to mention Ica. I fixed it now though. He describes her as a "diplomat")

Tilila could tell by the way everybody else walked off, it was going to be relatively silent if somebody did not make the effort to socialize. I'll introduce myself, I suppose she thought as she walked through the hall and stood in front of her door. She didn't open it though. She definitely was not used to this type of luxury, and being there didn't exactly make her all that comfortable, so she decided not to. She headed to the door she had seen, what she believed to be the artist, enter and rapped lightly on the door.

(Also, as preface, we all speak both our native languages and Egyptian [If you wanna add more, you can])

(Okay!)

@Tired-but-passionate

Efraim heard the knock at the door, but didn’t answer it until they had finished praying. They had to pause for a second to size the woman up, remembering that she was the warrior. Raising a hand indicating for her to wait, Efraim went back inside the room and grabbed a scroll and writing utensil, then came back and quickly wrote a greeting in Egyptian hieroglyphs.

Tilila waited, and once he'd opened the door, she saw they'd written her a message. A greeting. "Hello" she began "I am Tilila." she said in Egyptian, though it was a bit broken. "I'm the warrior for this expedition. It is nice to meet you… I assume you're the artist?" she did not want to ask more than that, else she fear being invasive.

Mithonbaal, having heard Tilila knock on a door, cracked his own, quietly, to see what was happening. He saw her pause at what he assumed the artist's response was, then speak in broken Egyptian. He snorts. Damn, she speaks Egyptian. She doesn't know that I do, so at least there's that. He quickly closes the door and goes back to his bed once more.

Wait… how come she went to the artist first? he wonders, actually curious now.

@Tired-but-passionate

They nodded, offering a small smile. It was always difficult to speak to strangers. Efraim wrote another message on the scroll, that if translated to English read: It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Tilila. And I assume you are the warrior?

(Sorry for taking so long, fell asleep)
(I mostly just copy/pasted this from the old rp)

Ehlaea stood near Tilila for a moment, admiring the ivies and grapevines. She had entered the city shortly beforehand, and had found comfort only in the plants. She didn’t like cities, or crowds, and she was stuck in both. But, she hoped it would be worth it. The Garden of Hesperides awaited her.

She followed Tilila inside and listened to the Pharaoh closely. She nodded at his mention of a sorceress, then glanced around at the mention of the others, curious who was who. When the guards came up to escort them to their rooms, she followed silently. She then gave the guard a nod of thanks and respect before disappearing into her room.

As Ehlaea settled herself, she heard a knock down the hall. She paused a moment to listen, then turned away, lighting some incense to soothe her mind. After some meditation to calm her nerves, she went to bed.

Tilila nodded at the question "Yes, that I am. I wanted to speak to you first because… well, I feel I feel we would probably have the most in common than the rest of the crew. I say this because I'm also a weaver for my tribe, so I consider myself a sort of artist" she looked away for a second, hoping she didn't say anything incorrectly. In her glance, she noticed one of the other crews doors was open, and somebody was looking through it. She squinted at the door and called out "Hello?"

Mithonbaal realized that Tilila must have seen him and sighs. He gets up and goes back to the door, opening it and stepping out.

He thinks a moment about acting like he couldn't understand her, but decided it was a little late for that.

"Hello, Tilila. My name is Mithonbaal." he says in perfect Egyptian, not even bothering to hide his Phoenician accent.

"I have heard that the one you were just talking to is the artist. Efraim, was it? And you are the fighter, yes?" he asks, again not even bothering to act.

@Tired-but-passionate

A weaver? Efraim wrote. I bet you are very talented.
They looked up to the door that slightly opened. Tilting their head at the sound of the man’s strange accent, they nodded when he mentioned them. They did nothing else, trying to get a good look at the man and unsure of what else to say anyway. Mithonbaal seemed most befitting of a rogue, so that must be who he was.

Mithonbaal had seen Efraim standing there, unsure of what they should say.

"Hello, artist. I would say it was pleasant to talk with you, but one encounter is not definitive of the future encounters we may have. Good day." he says, turning away and padding away back to his room. Not too unpleasant. It could help to befriend them in the future.

Ica hears noises outside her room, and goes to investigate, draping a shawl across her shoulders. Noticing the others, she strikes toward them.
“Ola, seekers of treasure!” She says rambunctiously, speeding her arms out wide and giving a hearty laugh.
“I’ve noticed we each have a particular trait to aid in this expedition. What might all of you be? And more importantly, what can you do?” She adds, hands on hips.

The continued chatter in the hall kept Ehlaea up and she sighed. She had hoped to get as much sleep as possible, but with the noise and her usual nightowl habits playing in her head, there was no point in trying to force herself.

Ehlaea stood up and moved to the door. She didn’t open it, just listened through it. It seemed there was now four of the six out. She wondered if the fifth individual would come out as well.

@Tired-but-passionate

Efraim felt awkward about their exchange with Mithonbaal, and the arrival of more people was overwhelming. They waved to Tilila and gestured inside their room, then closed the door behind them. The Iberian princess was a little loud, but hopefully Efraim would be able to fall asleep.

Mithonbaal paused and turned back, slightly annoyed. Well, I have nothing better to do, so…

He looks at Ica with surprise. "I am the spy. Does that answer any other questions you have?"

When Ica and everyone isn't looking in his direction anymore, he disappears back to his room, quickly. Thank Baal…

Ica rolls her eyes, crossing her arms. "Oh gods, you make me sad!" She waves a hand, laughing.

"But i'll find a way to make you talk somehow!" He rolls her tongue, giggling.

"Ah, and you- you must be the weaver, eh?" She says to Tillia, looking her up and down. "I like your style, Urraca" She says, dramatically rolling the Rs. "Tell me, why did you join this expedition?"

group
@The-Dyonisia group

"I was hired as the warrior for this expedition actually. But yes, I am also a weaver." she paused at the question after that, thinking how she would answer "Well, I'm simply joining because the myths of the Garden of the Hesperides are very important to my family, and I think it's time one of us finally gets to see it." she said. This was partially true of course, but she had other reasons as well. She looked around the hall. She and the person before her were the last people out in the hall. She looked her up and down "You are the royal diplomat. It is a pleasure to meet you." she greeted.

Ica smiles, cocking her head as she listens to what Tillia has to say. She tugs at her cloak, swishing her hair before she speaks.

"Ah, a warrior!! very intriguing indeed. I am quite interested in this foretold garden and it's importance to us all." She grins, putting a hand to her chest. "It must be very exciting to finally have the opportunity to visit, uracca."

She laughs again at her last words, a lighthearted laugh that filled the room. "Ah, yes indeed! You are quite wise, my fellow adventurer. It is a honor to meet you as well." She bows, eyes fixated on Tillias as she smirks.

"Tell me, what is your name? I simply must know." She says, twirling her hair.

Cassia leaned on her door, straining to hear what was being said. Finally after a wile, she opened her door and greeted every one. "Hi, my name is Cassia." She said happily. She looked around at every one, and not recognising any of them, she just smiled and rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet.

group
@The-Dyonisia group

She inclines her head slightly in the recognition of the nobility of the other "I am Tilila, I am from one of many of the tribes in Libya" she lifts her head "And your name" she finds herself interrupted by the small, presumably Roman girl who stood aside to them "Nice to meet you Cassia" she smiled. She was inclined to like children, even more than people her age, so seeing the girl made her more comfortable in her own skin. "You are either the healer or… the sorceress?"

business

"Healer, but not offishly. I am trained to be one, but I'm not old enough yet." Cassia replied, smiling all the more. "You don't happen to know why I'm here, do you?" She asked as she popped her knuckles.

group
@The-Dyonisia group

"Well, did you not volunteer? I believe the rest of us volunteered for this expedition" she raised an eyebrow "It is concerning if you really don't know why you were brought here"

business

"I met a group of men on the road, they asked me who I was, I told them, they told me a story about a tree and a garden and I liked it, they let me travel with them, and they brought me here where someone led me to my room, and I have been there ever sense." Cassia stated but with a bit more um's.

So the child, Cassia, was the Healer. Tilila was the warrior. The rogue and spy was Mithonbaal. Efraim the artist. What was the name of the royal diplomat then?

Ehlaea hummed. Should she introduce herself? No. All things happened in time, and Ehlaea had always had issues with social interactions. If someone came to her, then she would greet them, otherwise she would simply listen.

group
@The-Dyonisia group

"Oh, well that is… interesting…" she said to Cassia. The story was more than a little bit concerning, but she decided to make the better of it. "Well then, I believe I don't know your name, your majesty" she said, inclining her head to the royal diplomat again. All these people reminded her of her family and her tribe, and Tilila had already determined in her head that she would protect all the people on this voyage at all costs.

Ica forgets to introduce herself, too preoccupied with watching the little girl.

“Oh gods above!! Are you not the most precious thing I have ever seen?!” She claps her hands together, smiling eagerly as she steps closer to Cassia. She plays with cassia’s hair, listening.

“Oh no no no no, that is not very fit for a little princess like you to travel with strange men. Oh no.” She lightly taps Cassia on the nose. “I am so very glad you have found us, my little blossom.”

She grins, spinning back around to meet Tillia. “Oh please don’t bow. My status means nothing here.” She says, between both a grateful smirk and a scoff. “I never liked father’s palace anyways.” Her face lightens. “Ah yes! My name is Auruningica. Though you may just call me Ica!” She laughs again, tossing her head back.

Mithonbaal listened at the door. Diplomat. Healer. Warrior. Artist. Rogue. Who am I missing? Ah, yes. The Sorceress. She has yet to introduce herself, interestingly enough.
