"Maybe another verse? I dunno…" She mumbled, going back to messing with her guitar.
"Hey, remember when I said I was gay for Joan Jett? Well, I'm more gay for you." (Lesbian o/o) (OPEN)
Zyra shrugged. "Your choice, it's your song."
"Feel like I should do another verse…" She mumbled.
"Okay then, add on another verse. Do you have an idea for it?" She asked.
"I think so…" She said softly, writing again.
Cause she just knows how to light my soul
She smells like vanilla and rock n roll
Cause she doesn't know she can kill me with a smile
And I'm just hoping she'll let me stay a while
Zyra listened intently, nodding afterwards with a smile on her face. "It sounds great, I think you can just put that in without any changes."
Carmen smiled slightly. "Thanks, Z."
"For what? I was just being honest," Zyra replied with slight smile on her face.
"Ya too fuckin' nice for the world, ya know that?"
Zyra chuckled softly. "You sure about that? I don't think you've seen how I act around strangers."
"Pretty damn sure." She said, smiling up at her.
Zyra's face flushed a bit, a shy smile appearing on her face. "And how did you conclude that I'm way too nice for the world?"
"Have you met yourself?" She asked, blinking a few times. "I swear, there isn't a mean bone in your body!"
Zyra chuckled, the chuckle soon turning into a laugh as she looked at Carmen. "Oh, honey, you clearly don't know me."
Carmen smiled. "Z, you're like a puppy trying to fight. I know you gotta bite to match the mark, but you're not scary, or mean, just… defensive."
Zyra smirked and moved closer to Carmen before leaning in, their faces only inches apart. "Not even intimidating?"
Carmen looked up at her, willing her blush to stay down. "Steven Adler Junior, honey." She said teasingly.
Zyra rolled her eyes, glancing at Carmen and realizing how much she wanted to kiss her. "God damn, you're so pretty even up close…" She muttered, not realizing she said it out loud.
"Oh?" She asked, blush blooming across her cheeks. "And?"
Zyra realized that she had said it out loud and blushed furiously, immediately backing away and using her hair to cover her face. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize I said it out loud."
"Hey, it's fine, honest-"
Zyra glanced at Carmen, not being to able she had just done that. "-I was probably invading your personal space and didn't even think to ask."
"Z." She said, straight faced. "Look at me?"
Zyra almost immediately looked at Carmen, her face burning furiously as she looked at her. "Yes?"
"It's fine, okay? I don't care. I give zero shits, alright? It's fine, calm down." She said gently. "Please?"
Zyra nodded, sighing softly as she manages to smile at Carmen. "Thanks, I don't know what I'd do without you."
"Same here, Z." She said, smiling back.
Zyra nodded in response, glancing at the sticky note with all the lyrics. She just wanted to confess so she could see if Carmen liked her romantically, but she stayed quiet. "Back to the song for the hundredth time?"
"Take one hundred and one, let's go!" She said, laughing.
Zyra also laughed, using her hand to cover her smile as she looked at her. "Let's go!"
