Rowan looked up at Eve curiously as he ate his spaghetti, seeming pretty relaxed. He was careful not to use his injured hand.

Eve ate with a relaxed expression on her face. For the first time in a long time, she both looked and felt calm.

Rowan occasionally glanced up at Eve as he ate, watching her with a fond expression.

On one of those glances, Eve happened to look his way too. Her eyes widened, and she quickly looked back down at her spaghetti. "It's very very good," she praised softly.
Rowan flushed a bit when Eve caught him staring and looked back down at his own bowl. "Ah, t-thanks… glad you like it." He replied awkwardly, shoving more spaghetti in his mouth as an excuse to not talk.

Eve smiled a bit before taking another bite. She brushed her hair behind her ear absently.
Rowan soon finished eating and took his bowl to the sink so he could wash it.

Eve finished too and duplicated Rowan's actions. "I'm glad we made enough to have leftovers," she remarked.
"Yeah, we should have enough for a few days, at least." Rowan yawned and stretched. "I like to make big servings of food for that reason."

Eve nodded. "Noted. That makes sense. And it lasts longer with it only being the two of us eating ."
"Mhmm. Just saves some time so I don't have to make a new dinner every single night." Rowan shrugged. "Sometimes I'm lazy."

"Get in line," Eve remarked with a quiet laugh.
Rowan smiled softly and nodded. "Well, what should we do now?" He asked.

Eve pursed her lips in thought. "We do have time before the normal hours of sleep. What about a movie?"
"Sure, what movie do you want to watch?" Rowan asked, drying his bowl and putting it back where it belonged.

When Rowan finished, Eve replaced him at the sink to wash her hands. "I'm not sure, what's your favorite?"
Rowan shrugged. "I don't really have a preference. As long as it's not too long… I don't like sitting for hours and hours."

"Do you want to hear something cheesy?" she asked, glancing over her shoulder with a soft gaze.
"Is it 'nothing seems too long when it's with you'?" Rowan asked, smirking a bit. "'I'd sit for hours with you'?"

Eve's eyes widened, and she blushed rapidly. "N-No… I was going to say my favorite movie is Dirty Dancing." She quickly looked back down at her bowl as she washed it.
"Oh, very different direction." Rowan laughed nervously, flushing as well. "Um… I actually haven't seen Dirty Dancing, so…"

She finished washing her dish and moved to grab the towel to dry it. This time, it was Eve who wore a bit of a smirk and tilted her head as she asked, "Is there something you wanted to say to me?" she teased.
Rowan flushed red after taking a moment to process. "Ah, n-nothing… we should just… um… we should just watch something. Whatever you want is fine…"

Eve put her bowl away and headed out to the living room. She casually brushed by Rowan as she did and smirked. There we go. Now she was feeling like herself. "If you haven't seen Dirty Dancing, we should definitely give it a go."
Rowan sighed, composing himself for a few seconds before he followed Eve into the living room. "Um… right. Yeah, that's fine. Uh… what's it about, anyway?" He asked, sitting down on the couch.
