"Aww that's sweet, but sad that it passed."
I hate you...or DO I?
"Yeah, she was a sweet dog…" he sighed softly.
"Well. All dogs go to heaven. I'm glad you got to have her. Your turn to ask a question." She kissed his cheek comfortingly.
"Where were you born?" He asked smiling when her lips kissed him.
"Colorado." She replied coldly, it obviously being a dark place for her as she looked away.
"Oh OK, cool. Your turn." He hummed tapping the wheel with his finger.
"The perfect date to go on." She said as she looked at him, and kissed his cheek again.
"I think that's a little bit of a bad question to ask on a date." He chuckled glancing at her.
"First dates, dream dates, whatever. You said ask anything so I'm asking anything. Now. Describe, Your. PERFECT. Date."
"Well…" He smirked. "One with you."
"Oh cmon cheesehead, be descriptive about it. Where would you go, what would you like to do, including doing me. Or excluding whatever." She huffed a bit, looking at him.
He chuckled awkwardly and flushed. "Fine, chill out a little." He said trying to relax. "Going out to a planetarium maybe, and then right after to the beach. Strolling along the side of the waves and gazing at the stars. Then we go get ice cream and find a spot back on the beach that once we finish we can kiss in the moonlight…"
"Wow that sounds…amazing." She smiled and hugged his arm, head on his shoulder. "I like the sound of that. A lot."
"Do you? Well go on, describe your perfect date." He smiled kissing her head.
"A movie, down at the old movie theater down town. Ya know the one with the velvet seats all ripped up, and has been here since forever? It's my favorite. Go there, and afterwards go walking around the quiet parts of town under all the city lights, and just enjoy the night. Then. I dunno. Sex at my house I guess." She shrugs.
"Sounds…nice." He said softly feeling his face get warm.
"What? Do you like imagining fucking me?" She asked, with a purr to her voice as she kissed his cheek.
He squirmed a bit. "That wasn't the thought in the forefront of my brain…"
"Oh. And what was, red cheeks?" She asked, looking at him.
"How awkward I am… and how we just started dating…" He said softly.
"Hey. We yes indeed started dating. We'll get there. It's not like all of that will happen tomorrow. I was thinking in the sorta far future. My nature just takes some getting used too." She shrugged.
He nodded gently and looked at her. "I-I was kinda worried you thought that tonight…" He trailed off.
"No. I don't. I expect it with some guys but you are just to gosh darn polite. We'll get there in good time. Patience, always a good thing. I don't like sex as much if I don't trust the guy or know him to well anyways."
"And both of those things describe me…" He mumbled pulling up to her apartment.
"And that's a good thing." She nodded as she got out of the car. A guy yelled at her. "Yo Ev! Drop somethin' will ya?" She rolled her eyes as she went inside. "Hey Steven. Still a pervert as always?" "Hey with you in a skirt that short I gotta try." "Look, you're just lucky I haven't ripped your throat out yet so I'd fucking WATCH IT." She growled out. He walked over. "Feisty little bitch huh? I like that in a women." She took off her high heels, not bending over. "I'm warning you Steve, back the fuck off."
Raven gritted his teeth. "Like she said. Back off you little twit."
"And what are you gonna do about it?" Steven towered over you, with huge arms and a stomach that bulged past his pants. "I think she'd make a pretty cowgirl." He grabbed her wrist. She then grabbed his hand, and gave it a hard twist. There was the crunch of bone. "OW FUCK YOU LITTLE WHORE WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?" "Told ya. Fuck off." She shrugged and headed inside, and up the stairs. "He's always been like this. I broke his leg two months ago. With a sledge hammer. That was a good day. Completely shattered his knee cap."
Raven was quiet looking back over his shoulder. "That happen often?"
"Often enough. I get cat called a lot, no matter where or I go or who I'm with." She shrugged as she headed up the three flights of stairs, and headed down to the very end of the hall, and opened the door. A cat came running to the door, and she picked it up. "Hi there Marlo." It was a big fat grey stripped cat with soft blue eyes, as it nuzzled her. The place was sorta dirty, with guitars in corners, and all sorts of posters and pictures decorating the walls. She set down her shoes and carried the cat in both arms as she sat down on the couch.
"I like it here… feels homey. Though I feel many things are homey." He chuckled.
