He sighed and leaned over kissing her. "I wouldn't really leave."
I hate you...or DO I?
She blushed, kissing him back. "Really?"
"Nope- the only reason I'll leave is because I'm dead." He hummed.
"Already so deeply in love with me. Don't go rushin' things, we're new love. Give me a few weeks, I'll cause problems…I always seem to." She said this lightly but there was obviously some heavy weights to her last statement. A hint at her darker past.
"I mean even if us as lovers don't last I'll always be your friend. I mean that." He said petting her hand.
She looked at him and smiled. "Good." She then lifted up his hand and kissed it. "Pink is a good color on you by the way."
He chuckled. "You said that already. Where is it now?" He asked.
"On your lips ya dumb." She giggled, smiling widely. "I'm just makin' sure you know."
"Oh well nice. I bet I look fabulous." He chuckled.
She nods. "Definitely love. Absolutely wonderful in every way."
"Fantastic darling!" He laughed seeing the waitress headed their way.
She laughed in return, and slipped her hand into his with a smile.
The deaf waitress set the plates and drinks on the table, nodded and left. "Mmm- food!"
"Yay food." She began to eat, smiling. "It's good."
"Oh good! You want to try their pizza?" He asked picking up his cup sipping it.
She was already grabbing a slice of pizza off his plate and took a bite. "Hmmm….eh. I've had better." She puts it back on his plate and returns to her mac and cheese. "I'll have to take you down to the diner my uncle owns."
"I'd love to go." He smiled picking it up and eating it.
(Bump??)
She smiled and continued eating, not sure really what to say now as an awkward silence fell between the two.
"So, I thought maybe we could possibly go get dessert or something?" He offered eating some.
"Oooh yes dessert. I want pie." She said excitedly, and began to wolf down her mac'n'cheese.
He chuckled. "We can go to the place I got the treats from the other day." He smiled finishing off his slice.
"Yes please!" She nodded, and gulped down her apple juice.
"Alright, we just gotta be careful. I give you permission to defend yourself but not to murder anyone." He chuckled sipping the last bit of water.
"Whaaaaat. That's no fun. Well you're in luck, I don't have any weapons on me anyways. Except my highheels. But oh well."
He laughed. "Glad you feel safe with me." He hummed standing up. He pulled his wallet out and grabbed a thing of cash.
"I don't feel safe with you, but I don't feel safe with anybody really." She shrugs and stood up. "I just couldn't find my pocket knife in time."
"Well you could've taken your time. I was in no rush." He said taking her hand.
"Yeah but if I didn't rush out the door we would've never left." She said with a laugh, giving his hand a squeeze. "You still haven't wiped off the lipstick on your lips."
"Nope, but I like it." He chuckled kissing her cheek. "Let me pay then we can go."
