Jo snickers.
"I'm just ordering something random and hoping it's good, love. You should try the same thing, it may help."

"ahh im just going to play it safe and get steak…"
Jo shrugs.
"Suit yourself."
The waiter comes back and takes their orders, then leaves them to their own devices while their food is made.

Nikki plays around with her wine glass after the waiter takes their orders running her finger on the rim causing it to him a little bit
Jo smiles.
"I see you've found out that the wine glass is crystal."

Nikki glances up at Jo and nodded slightly "yeah-"
"And I suppose you'll want to know that we have more." Jo grins.

"then i suppose youll want to know that in taking on home."
Jo laughs.
"Go right ahead! We own this place!"

"but how do we plan on keeping it, wouldn't it be smart to allow people to come here and eat? that would bring in money."
Jo shrugs.
"Oh, I never said I'd keep people from coming here. I just encouraged people not to come here tonight."

"And how did you do that exactly? "
"By being the only person in the city rich and crazy enough to buy this restaurant."

"well….i mean there's someone richer and crazier.."
"I highly doubt that, babe." Jo laughs.

"..no- you know how im talking about.."
"Oh, wait. Him." Jo sighs, his mood immediately turning violent.

"im sorry i- im sorry….'' she sighed and let he head fall
Jo shakes his head, reaching out and gently lifting Nikki's head.
"I'm okay, Nikki. It's fine."

nikki nodded and looked up at jo " I shouldn't have said anything.."
Jo sighs.
"It is okay, Nikki."

"I'm not good at this jo-"
A small pause.
"Neither am I, if I'm being perfectly honest."

Nikki smiled a little "you bought a whole ass restaurant. "
"That's exactly my point!" Jo laughs.

Nikki shook her head and laughed looking off to the side "ya know… I kinda feel bad for you.. "
