It was silent in the tiny cottage, apart from a small clock ticking on a clean counter. Manni flipped a page of his book.
I have an Idea for gay superhero One-On-One, who's in? {OPEN}
He hummed quietly to himself, playing with his fingers. The old man's been stealin', She's holdin' a grievance for hundred-odd years, We all keep believin' That history repeats itself year after year.
(Hm skip?)
((Sure. When to?))
(Maybe the next day?)
((Alrighty. Maybe that's when they find out they're both wanted for the murder of a cop?))
(Oh ye, sounds good.)
((Okey Dokie!))
:)
(Who starts?)
((Do you wanna?))
(Not at all, lol, sorry.)
((Okay.))
Alex woke up groggily, wiping at his eyes before realizing in his half awake state Wait, why is my mask still on?
Manni had went to bed in another room, and he was still snoring softly into a rather stiff-looking pillow. The clock on the counter stared at Alex, ticking softly.
He looked at the clock, remembering what had happened the day before as his mind started to wake up more. "Oh shi-"
But there was no foe hanging over him, threatening to plunge a knife into his heart. It was only the quiet home, apart from the ticking of the clock and Manni's soft snores.
"Can't say this is the weirdest place I've woken up, but what the hell happened? Okay, so there was a cop- the cop!" He said, jumping up suddenly. "Oh shit, he's probably dead shit-"
Manni twitched in his bed, comfortably wrapped around a pillow. He rose his head slowly, blinking slowly.
"What the hell is going on in there?"
Alex was still low-key freaking out, as usual. "Oh no, no no no no they are going to come looking for us fuck fuck fuck why did I have to be a freak why-"
((Idk, I just kinda accidentally starting writing him as having quickly triggered anxiety but just buries it like with all his pain because that's apparently how I roll.))
(Oof that's okay.)
Manni stood slowly, slumping in with a tired, angry expression and sweatpants.
"What are you going on about?"
He looked up, a bit startled. "That cop. Last night." He said, trying to get his racing mind under control.
Manni shook his head, still exhausted. "Okay, and? We killed him, so what?"
"You realize the government doesn't exactly like people like us already, right? And we just killed a cop! Shit-shit, no I can't-"
((Guess who's making up an angsty backstory? This gal!! Ha ha please stop me))
(Oooof more annngggsttttt)
Manni shrugged irritably, sighing. "I don't know why you care. He was literally threatening to kill you."
"And now the whole government is probably going to actually kill us!" He said, breathing heavily. "I have someone waiting for me!" He said, random thoughts spilling out of his mouth without the notice of his panicked mind.
Manni rolled his eyes and turned onto his other shoulder. "Yeah, if you're stupid enough to go back into the city."
He lost all ability to form actual sentences for a few minutes. "And what if they go after them?"
"Them? Who is them? No one's coming after us any time soon. And if they are, I'd know," Manni grumbled and shifted into the bed again.
"My little sibling. I need to go!" He said, heading to the door.
"Yeah, alright… dumbass," Manni hissed under his breath as the other started walking our.
He started sprinting once he got out. I swear to God if they touch them- they don't even know!
