"Im not everyone" replied Skye flatly, twisting to look up at her, ears held back a bit.

Like usual, her eyes were doubtful and downcast. The swirling pit of her inner mind called for her to jump into the dark waters and drown in her thoughts.

""Crystal" Skye said it with love, and kindness in hjs voice.

She snapped out of her thoughts long enough to flash a kind smile. This happened sometimes but usually there wasn't anyone around to notice it.

Skye grinned, adjusting his footing under her weight.

"Sorry, you were saying something?" She looked away sheepishly, awkward that she'd just zoned out in the middle of him talking.

"Just trying get you to believe me when I say I care about you…." he said softly.

"Yeah, good luck with that. I can be pretty stubborn at times."

"And I can be very persistent" said Skye

"Bring it pretty boy." She challenged with a smile.

Skye's ears twitched mischievously as he carefully shifted so that he was holding her (in human form now) bridal style.

"There's my handsome prince." She giggled. "I was starting to miss him."

"You do realize It's my wolf side that's royalty right?" He asked smoothly

"Yeah I know. But I like calling you my prince."

"Guess that makes you my princess" said Skye setting her down gently.

"I suppose it does." She giggled.

Skye pulled her close into his arms, studying her eyes again.

She could feel a growing obsession with searching his eyes and she gladly indulged in it without a second thought.

Skye smiled, suddenly kissing her, his grip was rough, almost possessive, but gentle at the same time.

She liked to imagine that they were fire and ice. He was always alert and tense, ready to move at a moment's notice, he was definitely fire. She was more logical and reasonable, more of the brains behind the operation, she was the ice.

Skye pulled away for a second, studying her. "What's going on in that head of yours?" He asked
