Lexi snorted before kissing her forehead. "Yep."
I just want fluff right now (O/O)
"Good. Do you want to go do something? We've been sitting in the cafe for a while," Hazel reasoned, seeing the sun set behind the trees.
"Yes, please. What do you have in mind?" She asked, leaving the bathroom.
She took a minute to think. "I actually have no idea."
"I guess we'll find something along the way. Let's go." She mimicked Dora at the end part as serious as she could before laughing again.
Hazel snickered. "I guess." Her walk had a bit more bounce than usual
They left the cafe and finally out into the open. "So we have about three hours to do whatever we want before I have to go and study." She mentioned, holding the door open for her.
"Same here. I may have to pull an all-nighter," Hazel slouched from disappointment. She took a deep breath of the cool air to gather her thoughts.
Lexi put her arm around her and leaded her towards the quad. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you won't have to."
"We don't even take the same classes… That makes everything so much less enjoyable," Hazel pouted. She was dreading tomorrow since yesterday.
"It does, but at least we can make the most of our time now." She said while pointing to an amusement park billboard.
Hazel looked up and gasped. How had she not known about that? "Oh my god, let's go!"
Luckily, the amusement park wasn't even that far. It was only a twenty minute walk from where they were and had large rides. She paid for both of their tickets before handing Hazel a map. "Where do you want to go first?"
"The Turkish Twist!" Hazel dragged Lexi towards the ride and found that the line was really, really long. She sighed, looking at the other.
"Interesting ride." Lexi mentioned while looking at the coaster. She looked back to Hazel and matched the expression on her face. "I know, but at least there are two carts that carry 20 people each."
Hazel looked around. "Roller coasters make me sick. It might have something to do with me generally eating before I ride them, but I don't know. What about the carousel?" She gestured to a ride across the path.
"Sounds fun. Shall we?" She asked, holding her arm out for Hazel to grab.
Hazel obliged, looping her arm through Lexi's. The line was short, letting them go on soon. She gave the worker enough tickets for both of them and found a pretty horse for Lexi and one next to it for herself.
Lexi helped Hazel onto the horse before struggling to get on her own. She soon was able to after some failed attempts and hard falls. She strapped on her belt before listening to the music start to come on.
Hazel hummed along, reaching across the aisle to take Lexi's hand in her own. "I wish this was something that could happen more often."
Lexi looked down to their fingers and intertwined them before looking back up to Hazel. "Same, but with all my classes and work, it's pretty rare."
"I'm also pretty broke," Hazel nodded to agree with the other. "But, that just means we have to make the most of it as it comes."
Lexi gave Hazel a smile and squeezed their fingers softly. "When do you think you'll have free time again?"
"Not for a few weeks at the most," She smiled sadly as the ride ended.
Lexi stepped of and helped Hazel down again and walked towards the exit. "Aww man, I was hoping it would be a bit sooner. I don't think I could go that long without you." And now you sound clingy.
"Same here. Good thing I might be able to sneak to your apartment after work sometime. Not a guarantee, but maybe…" Hazel felt like a stalker. Nobody says that!
"That would be a nice surprise." Lexi grinned, already imagining the scene in her head. "I'm not sure about me though since my schedule is kind of hectic."
"We'll find a way. I promise you that," Hazel said it with a gleam of confidence in her eyes.
Lexi lead them to the bumper cars section and saw that the line was fairly small. "Do you wanna go on these?"
"Oh my god yes!" Hazel ran towards the line as more people came close, holding them a spot.
