"Oh, alright," Hazel wanted to ask, but not pry. "Um, I don't really enjoy sweets. What's your favourite greek god/goddess?"
I just want fluff right now (O/O)
"Ooh, easy, Mesperyian. That god that Tumblr created was way too funny for me not to like her. Okay, what's your favorite show?"
"Erm… Death Note, I think. Hm. What's your favourite song?" She asked, knowing it was a tough question.
Lexi had to think a bit, analyzing each song that she had ever heard. "I'm gonna have to say 'Little Lies' by Odie." Lexi answered, thinking of the next question. "What's your favorite grade?"
"What do you mean by grade? Like grade level?" She asked. Stupid! She isn't speaking gibberish!
"Yup" Lexi answered with a grin on her face, hoping Holly wouldn't notice her casually moving closer.
"My junior year was probably my best…" She took a minute to think of a question. "What's your favourite book?" Hazel put her hand down, accidentally placing it on top of Lexi's. She quickly drew away. "I-I'm sorry!"
"No it's fine." Lexi said, hiding her smile that Holly placed her hand on top of hers. She thought that she wasn't getting anywhere with her but was proven wrong. She took Holy's hand again and put hers in the others. "I would say the False Prince trilogy." She answered, looking down to their hands. "I don't know anything else to ask."
"Okay, then don't ask anything," She replied with a smile. "I suppose this is where we move to the making out part right? I'm so awkward, god."
Lexi snorted, with all her inelegance and laughed. "I guess." She said, her tone getting softer.
"I'm sorry. I'll shut up now," Hazel looked down at the floor and bit her lip.
Lexi moved closer to her and picked her chin up and looked into her eyes. "It's fine, really."
"Okay… If you say so," She almost whispered, looking into the others eyes.
(my laptops about to die so i apologize)
(okay, bye)
Lexi didn't know what came over her to make her do such a thing but she leaned forward towards Holly's lips and kissed her.
The kiss took Hazel by surprise. Quickly though, her surprise vanished and she kissed back, bringing the other closer.
Lexi was shocked that Holly reciprocated it but didn't complain. Lexi moved her hands to an appropriate distance, not knowing whether she should move closer or not.
Hazel broke the kiss. "Aw, c'mon, don't be shy," She said directed towards the other's hesitance. Where did this confidence come from…?
Lexi blushed, not knowing where her forward persona had gone. She moved her hands lower and went back to her lips, with a much more passionate kiss.
Hazel's hand found the small of Lexi's back. She held her close, kissing back with just as much passion.
Lexi pulled back a bit to say something but was having a hard time finding the words and chuckled. "Well, I think you got your wish." She said before going back to Holly so she couldn't respond.
Hazel tried a smile, but it didn't work to well with someone else's mouth on hers. She playfully but the other's lip, quickly going back to their kiss.
After roughly 20 minutes and Lexi pulling back for air in between, she finally pulled back for the last time and leaned back on her couch. "Wow."
"Damn, that was possibly the longest kiss I've ever had. I-I mean, not like I've had much experience… people don't like me," She was talking about a million words per minute.
"Me too, it can't even compare to the other times." Lexi chuckled, out of breath. She laced her fingers with Holly and smiled back up at her. "I like you."
"I like you too, in case that wasn't obvious," She replied with a smile.
Lexi laughed one last time before pulling back completely and turning off the TV and putting their dishes away. "So what do we do now?"
"I have no clue. All of the dates before this have been assholes looking to get laid, then shunned me after I said no," Hazel recalled.
"Dang, that must have been rough." Lexi said, coming back to the couch and turning on the lamp settings so that it was dim like a cafe. She didn't know exactly how to comfort her after something like that but she felt it.
