"About what?"
I'm Here // One-On-One // CLOSED
"I want to trust you, but the voice in my head is saying not to."
"Why's that?"
"I don't know. I wish I did. But I do trust you and I know that I need you," she said in what seemed like one long breath.
"Then I will help you," Elina said. She took Anah's hand and started leading her towards the palace.
Anah walked slowly at first, but her pace picked up the closer they got to the gates.
"The palace needs a touch of magic," Elina smiled.
Anah looked at her sister. "You mean…" She snapped and a small shower of snow erupted from her fingertips.
"Oh it's perfect."
Anah grinned and formed a snowball in her hands and threw it into the air. It exploded and rained snow down on the two girls.
Elina caught a snowflake on her tongue, laughing.
Anah smiled. It was good to make her sister laugh again.
Elina bopped her sister on the nose.
"Hey!" Anah laughed.
Elina focused her magic and a blast of yellow light emitted from her hands.
Anah blinked and froze. "What's that?"
"It's my magic."
"What is it doing?"
"Nothing, really. But if someone in the room needed intense healing, the magic would direct itself to them."
"Oh," Anah said, admiring the light. She kept forgetting that her sister had magic too.
"But, since it's not going anywhere, no one needs healing."
Anah realized that meant her. She didn’t need any more healing.
Someone walked into the room, and the magic started to move towards them.
Anah pulled away from the hug to see who it was.
"What did you do this time, Timmy?" Elina asked the small boy who had walked in.
Anah eyed the boy warily. "Who's this?" she asked Elina.
"This is Timmy. He seems to always be getting hurt."
"I broke my leg this time, Queen Elina."
Anah bit her tongue. "Queen Elina. How about that - she stole your throne from you." The voice was back.
Elina knelt down. "And what have we said about being safe?"
"Control… control…"
