"Mm," Astral said, a soft chuckle escaping, "Yes, I must agree. I'll get one, just a sec." Astral walked to the other side of the kitchen, opening a drawer and reaching in. He had a few… souls, stored there, for if he needed anything. He grabbed one, and in a moment he was coming back over with a stool.

“Thanks, this should help a lot” Simon said, smiling as he took the stool from the god and positioned it where he needed it. He got up on it with another small chuckle. “That’s a lot better.”

(Okay- first off, the one from the other one- He ends up in Astral's workshop, and Simon finds him. Second one- he's at Serna's, he's one of the souls sent to her to get properly separated from their body to move on and have their memories taken and stored away and Simon spots them as he's getting his new body and's like ":0000")
"You're welcome!" Astral said in turn. He moved to start washing, humming softly as he did. He sat the now clean and rinsed-off plate in the rack for Simon, smiling still.

Evan had just been waiting for him for however many years so they can do it together because as soon as he died he remembered all the lives they’d lived together. Astral tried to bite back a smile, unsuccessful as he saw Simon working away out of the corner of his eye. He continued to hum as they worked, looking at Simon.
"Here, set them on the counter for now, I'll help you put them away afterwards." (No I'm totally not setting up a cute scene where Astral lifts Simon up by the waist to help him reach a top shelf to put something away at aaaaall)

He nodded and responded with a quick ‘okay’ as he already began to set them to the side. Simon was pretty good at this, and he moved quickly. In all honesty, he’d done a lot of this back on Earth.

Astral was taking his time a bit more than Simon, not because he couldn't go faster, but because he was just enjoying himself. He smiled as he sat the last piece down, turning to SImon.

He wraps his arms around Simon's waist and forces them apart, and Evan's forced to stumble back and maybe his soul is even hurt on one of the machines because of it– And Serna will be so protective of him aha, she knows they're both sweet boys ;-;)
"So, the pot goes under here," Astral said, pointing to a cabinet under the counter, "I'll take care of the silverware while you do that. There's an open spot for it."

"Up there," Astral said, pointing to the very top cabinet. It was… quite high up. Even Astral would have a hard time reaching it on his own… So, he didn't try. He put his hands around Simon's waist as soon as he'd picked up a plate, lifting Simon up with a small chuckle so he could reach.

Simon let out a small noise of surprise but he didn’t dislike it at all, and it quickly turned into giggles that he tried to contain. “Woah…is this how you feel all the time?” It was pretty high up.

"Mhmm," Astral said, laughing some. He kept a sturdy hold in Simon, making sure he was in no danger of falling. Normally, he might have, no, for sure would have 'accidentally' dropped Simon, but for some reason, he couldn't bring himself to, and he was so very very confused by it. He shifted to set Simon on his shoulder when the plate was put away, one hand still holding Simon in place as he reached down to offer him the next plate.
(Okay okay, so after Simon's reborn in the old one he accidentally does something that upsets Astral, and Astral kinda reverts for a bit and yells at him, but he accidentally calls Simon 'Salmon' and he gets this dark look and next thing Simon knows he's stuck in a tank and Astral's telling him he'll get to go back to normal when he learns to behave himself)

Simon was very comfortable with his current position, glad Astral was still keeping a hand on him. He carefully leaned down and took the plate from Astral, a wide smile on his face.
