She looked at him, the worry not gone from her eyes. "Are you sure? I don't know what Arapazia will do to be if she finds me."

Cody gave her a reassuring nod. “I promise you’ll be save as long as you’re in here. Some of toughest trackers have tried to find me and all have failed.”
Kallista was still scared. She had been running her whole life. The magic inside Arapazia was dark, and the Elders had brought it out. They had managed to soften the magic for many years, but it had unleashed. She'd killed everyone…and Kallista could only watch.
“The worst that could happen is they know you’re in here, but they’ll have some trouble getting in.” Cody explained.
"That doesn't stop me from being scared," She said, voice an octave higher than usual.
“Would you like some tea…?” Cody asked, unsure on what to do with the situation at hand.
Kallista looked at him, slight anger in her eyes. "Do I want some tea?! When there's the possibility that I could die?! No, I don't want some fucking tea!"
“To be fair, tea does have calming factors?” He said more of a question, than a statement, unsure of what his point was.
She glared at him. "I don't like tea anyway. Paradenians have a tolerance."
He opened his mouth as he nodded with a look of understanding. “Is there anything else I shouldn’t try to offer you?”
"Maybe silence?" She nipped, as she could still here yelling and voices from outside.
Cody gave an awkward nod. He shifted how he was sitting on the cot to a more relaxed position. “Silence is good.”
