I uhhhh, have a weird pitch for anyone looking for a 1/1 (OPEN)

So basically I wanted to do an RP that starts out as the standard and cliche "Guardian Angel Mary Sue/Gary Stu AU" but ends up as a twisted satire of that trope some time down the road.
Y'know, human is assigned angel, angel seems perfect, they fall in love.
Except this one has a few plot twists.
I already have an angel character!

This sounds neat. Mind if I pop in?

I hear you're a good roleplayer so uh, yos!

Oh really? I've never seen such comments

Yep! So do you have a character and setting in mind?

I have a half-elf chick that I could use. Here's her character sheet: Invalid Character
Sorry I took so long, I was finishing her sheet because apparently I stopped halfway.

It's cool I'll check it out.
So urban fantasy?

@ElderGod-kirky group

That works for me

She's perfect! Wanna see my angel?

Thanks! And I'd love to.

Name: Alsidiel
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Pansexual
Age: 11,000,000
Species: Angel
Personality: ISFJ-T, Hufflepuff, Candor, sensitive, worrisome, caring, analytical, problem-fixer, Alsidiel has a glass heart among glass hearts, and he wears it on his sleeve. He has an overall optimistic outlook on the universe but does not deny it is mostly flawed, sense of humor is very inside-joke based and toilette for an angel, and he relies on his relationships to carry his jokes. His goal is to simply do his job and be himself while he's at it. Known to bite his lips, finger-gun, tap his feet, and crack his knuckles. Very reserved.
Appearance: Alsidiel is 6'2" tall, and roughly 153 lb, with short, messy black hair in a sort of side part/left curtain style, he has thin black brows likewise, and narrow blue eyes that gleam like fire, he has a remarkably symmetrical, handsome, angular, and even semi- aristocratic face, and a powerful, agile, streamlined build as well. He has a firm, yet sing-song voice, and his scent changes to the most desirable for his human partner.
Likes: His job, music, sleep and relaxation, coffee
Dislikes: Rain, snow, sleet, hail, most common vices.
Powers…
-Immortality makes him eternally young, and he does not need to breathe, sleep, eat, drink, use the bathroon, or even blink.
-He can make himself invisible to all but his partner.
-Hecan make himself intangible to all but his partner.
-He can fly and teleport.
-He can become any animal.
-He can cast force-fields around himself and others.
-He can heal himself and others unless the wounds are fatal.
-He can walk up vertical and upside down surfaces, and on liquids.
Other: Here he is introduced as a Gary Stu, that's kinda the point. Needless to say he will not be one by the end of the RP.

(ah, sorry. Had to do some chores)

I love him, and I have a feeling these two are going to clash for a bit, as Aurae is quite…expressive.

(So… Setting?)

(Hmm… So if we're doing urban fantasy… I'm just thinking on the spot. Maybe Aurae lives in a sort of run-down apartment that's supposed to be abandoned, but she makes everyone around her believe that no one lives there still in order to avoid being disturbed? And she runs around the streets doing odd jobs here and there, as well as doing some "street magic" to earn some quick cash? Street magic being that she does card tricks and such and using her deception magic to make it all the more believable.)

So Alsidiel is in her apartment? Cool!

Or follows her around sometimes when he thinks she's up to no good.

Hmmmm…
OK you start! Usually I would but the nature of this RP requires me to have something to work with.

Works for me. Just gimme a few minutes to type it up.

Mhm

The city was bustling as per usual, with large crowds of tourists and pedestrians wandering the sidewalks and roads, shopping bags looped around elbows and dangling from burdened fingers. Shops welcomed people with open doors and greedy arms. Restaurants made others hungry with the delicious aroma of the food cooking in their kitchens. Tourist shops lured in innocent browsers with promises of wondrous sights and limited stock that could be found at no other place.

The streets were busy as well and quite eagerly taking advantage of this "rush hour." Sword swallowers and musicians alike performed for the curious crowds, acting humble and shy when complimented, but secretly tricking their audience into coughing up cash to put into their hats or buckets. Magicians also lurked about, flinging their cards around while claiming it's only the trick of the mind. Their hands were empty, but suddenly they pull something impossible from a curious boy's ear. People laugh and cheer, then ask for more as they empty their pockets.

One such magician truly did trick the mind. She whispered suggestions to her victims, wiggling a card number or color into their minds to make her trick work properly. She pretended to shuffle when really she was just moving her hands around. What's this? The cards were flying around her without a breeze to carry them. No, my kind sir, it was just some leaves that she's made you believe were cards and a breeze that she's made you not feel.

She flashed her teeth in a warm smile for the ladies while her violet eyes entranced the men. Her calloused fingers slid over the shiny cards with ease and dexterity that she feigned to have. She had no true talent for the art of traditional street magic, but it was right up her alley in terms of deception. Oh, what the liar she truly was. She could lie through her teeth with a convincing smile and bright eyes that promised no harm, while she held a dagger behind her back.

All in a day's work for Aurae Ralomyar.

(That took longer than expected)

(Very nice!)

Goosd, and you?

(Ah right)

This particular day, Aurae wasn't feeling it. The crowds were trickling down to almost nothing. Her tricks were growing mundane and tiresome on her part, and there weren't a lot of tourists today to leech off of. She also had to get to her waitressing job in about an hour. Fun.

Gods, she hated people sometimes.

She sat down on the large dumpster that she used as a perch whenever no one was around to view her show, her deck of cards shoved in their box and tossed to her side carelessly. If things didn't pick up soon, she might just have to go and steal the old fashioned way.

Alsidiel basked in the warmth of the sun, shining gloriously bright today, and sighed, his fragrant breath lost in the cool, fresh, vigorous yet gentle breeze.
From the rooftop of a small cafe, with its hipster aesthetic, he stared, at his new partner. She was rather tall for a woman, with long, straight, cascading copper hair and violety lilac eyes. Interesting. In a blur of motion he became a songbird, small, black, twittering, with colorful wings.
He darted over across the street to the tree nearest her.

A small flash of something caught Aurae's eye, and she slid her eyes over in that direction without turning her head. She had her contacts in today, as people didn't really take magicians with glasses very seriously for some reason—especially ones that were female as well.

Her tense shoulders relaxed when she saw it was just a bird, a sigh of relief escaping her lips as she huffed a small laugh. "Ridiculous. Scared of a bird." She shook her head and raked her fingers through her hair, messing it up slightly. "I must be way too eager for some trouble if I thought a bird was something else." She often spoke to herself when thinking. It allowed her to get her thoughts out in clear words as opposed to vague images and scattered details. Her voice dipped up and down with the syllables, her tongue rolling over the words almost all of the time. Her strange accent wasn't necessarily thick, but it was definitely noticeable, as she didn't really bother hiding it most of the time. Just added to the enchantment that helped divert people's attention to what she was truly doing.

"Aurae." He announced, standing motionless on the branch where the bird had once been.
His narrow eyes locked on her, waiting for her to turn around again.

@ElderGod-kirky group

She jumped and reached for a pistol that wasn't there, head whipping around at the sound of the voice. She froze when she saw something that was most definitely not a bird.

First thought: How the hell does he know my name?

Second thought: Wtf is going on?

Third thought: He's not bad looking.

"This is gonna sound weird, but-" He stepped off the branch, landing flawlessly on the ground. It was as if he ruffled not a single blade of grass, as if he hadn't disturbed the air. "Heaven has assigned me to you." He finished, giving her a faultless smile, and walking toward her with the grace of a big cat.

Aurae stood up on the dumpster and backed away as much as she could, eyes hardening and narrowing to slits. Her distrust of people was yet again kicking in, and she didn't like the idea of someone being assigned to her. That would just make her life even more difficult.

She glanced around to see if anyone else was bothered by this strange dude, but it would seem no one even saw him. Huh. She shook her head and put her hands on her hips, glowering down at the man. "I don't know who you are, but I'd stay the hell away from me if I were you."
