Blue shoved both her hands in her pocket as she stepped inside, nodding in thanks to Ava. She turned to look at the man who had spoken, looking for all the world unconcerned.

Scathe arched his eyebrows. "Who's this?" he asked, taking a step closer to Blue.
Ava quickly stepped in front of Blue. She seemed protective. "She wants a tattoo," Ava hissed.

(You should totally join in my new rp "The Art of Conformity" in wildcard rping…)

Blue raised an eyebrow at Ava's odd protectiveness, but nodded to Scathe. "Yup."

"I can–" Scathe began.
"Shut up," Ava intervened, "because I'm going to do it." DAMN SHIT FUCK WHAT DID I JUST SAY?

"You do tattoos?" Blue tilted her head, taking her gaze off of Scathe to look at Ava.

Ava winced. "Yeah."
Scathe laughed loudly. "Hey, Blitz! Ava's back!"
Ava punched him in the shoulder – hard. "Damn you! Shut up!"

This is slightly confusing. Blue's eyebrows drew together, but she shook her head, pulling out her phone to get it to stop buzzing nonstop, courtesy of Amara.

"What?" a girl with cherry-red hair dressed head-to-toe in leather came storming out from what looked to be a back room. Her eyes were heavy with dark makeup, and they seemed to grow even darker when they met Ava's. "Ava."
Ava tensed, still standing protectively in front of Blue. "Blitz."
Blitz popped her gum noisily. "Scathe, get the hell outta here. Don't you have something to be doing?"
Scathe rolled his eyes, shot Blue a quick wink, which earned him a glare from Ava, and paced off through another doorway.

Blue's confusion at the whole situation didn't show, luckily, but she did raise an eyebrow at Scathe's wink. Once he was gone, she continued typing as she looked to the girl she assumed was Blitz.

"I didn't think you'd ever come here again," Blitz snarled.
"How big is your idea?" Ava asked Blue quietly.

"Decently small." Blue answered, not taking her eyes of Blitz. "It's the meaning behind it that matters most."

"I meant size-wise. I need a time estimate," Ava clarified softly. To Blitz, she said loudly, "What's it to ya?"
"You drive away the business, whore," Blitz shot quickly.
Ava visibly tensed. "You got a problem?"
Blitz smirked. "I could ask the same thing about you."
"Damn you, Blitz," Ava snarled.

"Dollar coin." Blue said, before gently nudging Ava out of the way to stand next to her. "Now what the hell is goin' on here?"

Blitz's eyes narrowed at Blue, then Ava. "This is the new fuckdoll Hornet told me about? You could've done better, Madeline."
That was enough for Ava. She stormed toward Blitz with her long strides and grabbed the front of the girl's leather jacket. "Don't break the code, bitch."
"Admit it," Blitz hissed. "You're jealous."
"I will never be jealous of you," Ava spat back quietly.
"You're jealous because I got the shop…" Blitz continued, "and you got the scraps."
Ava shoved Blitz back roughly so the girl crashed into the wall.
"Not so much bite behind your bark, huh Blitz?" Ava teased menacingly.

"Ava-Ava." Blue winced as Blitz hit the wall, knowing the feeling, but her eyes were on Ava. What the hell? She wasn't at all sure what was going on, but she knew how to spot something bad brewing.

Ava turned to face Blue, her expression apologetic. "Yes?"

"Let's just go, alright?" Blue said, voice low and soothing.

"Don't you want your tattoo?" Ava asked, her voice much less harsh.

"Yeah, but I can get one later." Blue held out her hand, raising an eyebrow. "Somewhere with people you don't despise."

Blitz stood up and glared at Blue. "Trust me, the feeling is mutual. Do you know what she did?"
Ava's eyes narrowed. "Shut the hell up, Blitz."

"Tha's for her t' tell me, not you." Blue said calmly, flickering a glance over at Blitz.

Blitz smirked. "You'd better leave before Razor escorts you out."
Ava almost instantly grabbed Blue's arm and pulled her towards the door.
"Oh, and Madeline!" Blitz purred. "It's not breaking the code if you are no longer covered by it."
Ava ignored her and flung the door open, marching out and pulling Blue behind her.

Blue tugged a hand through her hair as she let Ava drag her out, her face returning to it's usual stony poker face. "Ava." She only spoke again once they were in her car, her eyes on the steering wheel as she mulled over the encounter in her head.

Ava closed her eyes, trying to ignore the pounding in her head. "Yeah?"

Blue looked over at her, studying her for a moment before sighing. "You alright?" She asked, pulling away from the curb and starting down the street.

"Sorry you had to see that," she replied, not answering the question.

"If I had known it woulda ended like that, I woulda stepped in sooner." She glanced back at her before turning her gaze to the road again.

"I don't know what I was thinking…" Ava mumbled. "I never should have taken you there."

"Hey. It's cool, a'ight? Lesson learned." Blue offered, tugging a hand through her hair once more.
