Lucien frowned slightly, tugging on the hood, then continued looking at the different things in the store. All sorts of different materials that he hadn't really seen before. Sure, he had seen magic weapons and magic items, but never anything like this.
Not yet. The Prince discovers it. /
Ali worked quietly, humming to himself as he does so. He wondered faintly if he was annoying his customer so he stopped humming and just worked quietly.

Lucien bit his lip, glancing over at the fox like boy. "Hey, uhm…can you explain how some of these work?" He asked curiously. "Er, not work, but like… what they do?"
Aki looks up and smiles. "Of course! New to sorcery?" He asks as he walks to help Lucien. "Are you looking for more healing properties? Common items? Rarities? Tarot card decks?" He asks as he gathers a fee ingredients together.
"Erm…I don't know." He admitted. "I'm not sure I can even do…magic. So. I guess I'm just curious about how everything works?" He shrugged slightly.
Aki perks. "Ohhh, a newbie! Don't worry, I'd love to help." He gathers a few ingredients and mystical objects. He hummed softly as he does so. What was intriguing were two glass balls, one which was filled with what seemed to be a lightning storm, and the other a calm ocean. Aki returned with a few objects and smiled.
Lucien gave a small smile, fingering his hood slightly. It would be easier to see what was happening if he took it down, but he could also be recognized easier. So. "Thank you."
"Of course. And! I have a book of spells and ingredients here." He gently places a medium size book down on the counter. "Is there anything else I can assist with?"
Lucien hesitated. "Uhhm…best way to start off?" He replied, looking at him curiously. "Because I have…literally no idea how to do anything, and i don't want to accidentally kill myself. That would be… catastrophic."
He chuckles. "Why don't we start with a simple spell. Do you prefer wands, staffs or your own hands?" He asks curiously.
"Uhh…" Lucien blinked. "Which one's easiest? Like I said, I know…basically nothing about any of this." He gave a soft, embarrassed chuckle.
"Wands are good for beginners." Ali replies as he walks to a cupboard. He steps back, revealing multiple wands of different shape and sizes. "Go ahead an choose one." He says happily.
Lucien nodded, and looked through, holding his hands behind his back to resist the urge to touch. "Am I supposed to be looking for anything in particular, or just…pick one at random?"
"Pick one that feels right I suppose." Aki replies gently, stepping back a little more so that Lucien could take a look. He hummed a little to himself.
Lucien nodded, and looked at them for a moment, before picking one up gingerly, holding it lightly in his hand. "This one?"
Aki smiles. "That one works." He smiled a little. "I think it'll do quite nicely." He walks back to the counter and carefully measures a few things.
Lucien gave a small smile back, watching as Aki took the wand. "So uhm, i never got your name?" He said slowly, looking over at the other male.
"Oh! I'm Aki." He grins at the other. "My master isn't here, but I know enough that I can run the shop on my own." He states happily.
"Alright, nice to meet you. I'm Lucien." He replied, not really registering until after he said his name that perhaps it wasn't the best idea to say his real name. "Thank you for the help."
"Lucien? I've heard that name somewhere…?" The male shrugged before gathering a few things and smiling at Lucien. "Let's get you started, yes?"
Lucien smiled. "Alright. Thank you." He replied softly, shifting slightly as he watched Aki.
Aki nods. "Of course." He hums gently as he gathers the few things he has and then clearing an area. He smiled softly and hummed softly.
Lucien smiled, watching him carefully. He wanted to learn as much as possible. He really did.
He set up the proper spells and chuckles quietly. "Alright. Ready?" He asks as he settles down across from Lucien.
Lucien nodded. "I…think so." He replied with a shrug. "Hopefully."
He chuckles and offers a kind smile. "Here." He whispers, offering him a seat.
He sat down slowly, biting his lip a little. "So…what am I supposed to do?" He asked quietly, looking at Aki.
"Well first off, focus on your wand. That will help." He laughs before offering the wand. "Now look through the book and choose a spell."
Lucien nodded, taking the wand and started to flip through the spell book. "Okay. Shouldn't i like…be careful, though? And not pick a spell that could kill people or something?"
"Yeah. Choose a simple spell." he whispers quietly and offered a kind smile. "So Start here." he points to the beginning of the book and grabbed his own wand.
