“I did. And I’m paying again.” Ana said, walking up to the counter and ordering, moving out of the way so that Olive could as well when she was ready.
Keep Me//OxO//CLOSED
After a minute or so Olive decided and ordered as well. She moved to the side so the next person in line could order and so they could get their ice cream. "Thanks, Ana. I owe you for sure."
"Mm..that sounds familiar, especially coming from you." Ana gave her a playful look, taking her ice cream and walking over to the small corner table they usually sat at. "Don't worry about it, Liv."
Olive took hers and followed Ana. "Oh man, are you sure?" She sat down and tried her flavor, very satisfied with it. She loved being able to spend time like this with her favorite person.
"Yup. Who else am I going to spoil?" Ana said, focusing her attention eating her ice cream. She sat down and stretched her leg out onto Olive's seat, leaning back into her chair comfortably.
Olive smiled and started eating her ice cream. "Gimme your ice cream, I want to try it." She asked, well, more like demanded. She offered hers to Ana so they could try each others.
Ana handed over her ice cream with a soft laugh, trying a bite of Olives ice cream and nodding. “It’s good,” she observed. “What is it?”
(Sorry if these replies are dull, I have a lot of work to do today)
(You don't have to worry about replying if you have a lot of work, I totally understand though)
(I can still rp! I was just letting you know that my replies won’t be the most well written :)
"Oh, it's just the best flavor ever! Double chocolate cookie dough!" Olive giggled a little and took a bite of Ana's ice cream. "Oo! Yours is good too!" She handed Ana's back and took her own.
Ana sighed contentedly and leaned back, looking around at the other people in the shop. “Speaking of good things, what’s your type?”
"Err…" Olive glanced up at Ana from her ice cream. "You mean like my type right?… I don't know anymore. It's been so long and I just…" She distracted herself by taking another bite of her ice cream.
Ana raised an eyebrow at her, not believing a word she said. “What aren’t you telling me?” She asked calmly, nudging Olive gently with her foot.
"No, I'm telling you the absolute truth… I'm telling you everything, I promise." Olive smiled at Ana, hoping that would help convince her.
“Mm fine. It’s just not like you, Liv. It’s weird.” She replied, still frowning, basically her normal expression.
"Oh what're you talking about? I'm still me and you know that." Olive smiled at Ana, seeing her frown. No matter how normal it was, Liv always liked to make sure to make Ana smile.
“Yeah, yeah. Whatever. My point is, you need someone. Women up and go talk to some girls.” She smiled a little, just being near Olive made her happier then ever, even if it didn’t seem that way.
"I mean, I would, but any girl that I could possibly interested in is either straight or is involved with someone already," Olive said with a sigh. She took another bite of her ice cream, it was halfway gone.
“There are 7.6 billion people on Earth, Liv. There’s bound to be at least one out there for you.” Ana commented, finishing her ice cream and wiping her mouth unnecessarily.
There is, she's getting involved with someone… Olive nodded and looked down at her ice cream. How hard it was to keep it all a secret, to see her one and only crush fall for some random girl that she hadn't even met before.
Ana could notice her unusual quietness, but didn’t say anything. She wouldn’t pressure Olive anymore about it.
She felt her phone buzz in her pocket and took it out, answering a few texts and messages. Her frown mostly disappeared when she saw a text from Madeline from about an hour ago, quickly responding.
Olive took in a breath and quietly finished her ice cream. She glanced at Ana who seemed content looking at her phone. She guessed it was probably Madeline which made Olive drop any hint of a smile on her face.
Ana put her phone down and glanced up at Olive. She smiled the widest she could in an attempt to make that grumpy look on her best friend’s face go away. Cheering up Olive could be hard, depending on the day, but she tried her best to make her happy again.
Olive fought back a smile, but she let it through in the end. Yes, it could take a bit to cheer her up, but when it came to Ana, she was a lot easier to cheer up.
"Excellent." Ana commented as she saw Olive's smile. "What time do you have to be home?" She asked, relaxing her face and returning it to a content smile.
"6:30 at the latest, why?" Olive asked, the smile still on her face. She turned on her phone to- surprise surprise- nothing what so ever.
"Just wondering. I need to take some pictures for photography class if you want to come with me?" She suggested, rolling up the sleeves of her shirt to her elbow. Sometimes it was almost two warm and comfy in here.
"Oo! That would be fun, obviously, I want to come!" Olive said excitedly. She leaned forward, resting her head in one on her hands.
“Sounds good. You ready?” She asked, patting Olive once on the head and grabbing her bag.
