He held his gaze for a couple seconds longer before pulling him into a desperate kiss, wanting to feel something other than guilt for more han 5 seconds.
Kinda want a demon and human ship so...help?
Raz yelped in surprise when he realized what the other was doing but instead of trying to pull away, Raz slowly wrapped his arms around the Jays neck to pull him closer. He burried one hand into his hair while the other cupped his cheek
He calmed down slowly, the sparks that flowed through him forcing his tense muscles to relax. He didn't have to think when he was locked with Raz, he could let pure feeling lead him.
Raz gently pulled away to breath. He painted slightly and smiled "feeling better now?" He joked, stroking his hair. He pressed their heads together and sighed "fine. I'm yours. But remember, your mine too."
He smiled, relieved. "That's all I wanted to hear." He wanted to know that someone wanted him, that someone cared about him. Like, actually cared about him, not that they had to care about him like Marcus.
Raz pressed a light kiss to Jay's lips. He shut his eyes and traced the curves of his face. He was Jay's. He wasn't the world's anymore, he was owned and under the protection of a demon. He didn't like being owned by anyone but if it was better than the life he wasiving before, he'd take it.
"I know you don't like being under someone else's control but trust me, it could be a lot worse. I've seen some people make contracts and then basically be tortured for the rest of their lives. But I'd never do that to you. I could never bring myself to hurt you."
Raz just nodded, unsure if he should trust the other's words. "Have you done that before?" he asked softly "Have you tortured others before?" He thought back to what he had considered torture at the time before he had met Jay and wondered if it was similar. What he did to you was child play compared to what demons could do to a human's feeble mind. He reminded himself, flinching a bit
"What? No! I've been in training, I never got the chance to torture people. Nor do I want to. I could've chosen to be a torturer but I decided to be a contractor. Hurts less people."
Raz tilted his head "you're an odd demon, aren't ya? I've never ever heard of a demon who doesn't take pleasure in a human being's torture." he leaned on Jay's shoulder comfortably "I'm glad you decided to become a contractor."
"What can I say? I'm more angel than demon. At least, that's what everyone else says." He chuckled softly.
He laughed along with Jay "is that possible? For an angel and a demon to be together?" He asked, suddenly curious about the topic
"Like, two separate people to be dating, one an angel and one a demon? Absolutely! Is it possible for a demon and angel to be melded into one person? That's a bit more questionable."
He nodded "niphilim, right? An angel child. I wonder what both are called." He snuggled into Jay and rested his head on his chest
He wrapped a gentle arm around him, holding him tight. "Not sure. But a lot of people ask me if I'm both. And while I can't tell you exactly what happened at the pearly gates, I can tell you that I'm not completely evil."
Raz curled himself tightly against Jay and burried his face in his shoulder " I know you're not," he said, his voice muffled against the fabric of the other's shirt.
"You'd think I'd know if I was part angel but Mr. L and Dr. G refuse to say anything. Something about timing? I don't know, it's weird."
"Mr L and Dr G?" He just nodded in confusion, trying to piece together how angelic and demonic relationships worked. He shook his head, not understanding a thing. "Very weird," he agreed
"God and Lucifer. We're not really allowed to call them that in front of humans so we were told to call them by code names." He shrugged. "I don't know how exactly it works, the science is complicated."
"I never knew their was a science behind primordial beings…" Raz muttered with a laugh. He sat up and ran a hand through his hair. "I'm gonna go home and run some errands. Do you want me to come back here or do want a few days to yourself? I get it if you want to have your home back for a bit,"
"Please come back. I overthink things when I'm by myself for too long…" He chewed on his lower lip but tried to relax.
Raz nodded "okay, i'll be back in a few hours," he said standing "don't overthink things while i'm gone." he smiled softly and headed to the door with his notebook
"What, no hug goodbye?" He chuckled softly.
Raz turned with a laugh "But this isn't goodbye," he argued, walking back to him and hugging him "I'll be back soon." he pressed a kiss to Jay's cheek and pulled away
"Hey, ya never know! Better safe than sorry. And besides, I'll miss you." He pouted slightly. "Don't judge me."
Raz smiled as he headed out the door "I'll see you in an hour, i'll call if anything comes up or something." He reasured before shutting the door behind him and walking back to his own apartment
Jay sighed when the door closed, flopping back onto the couch. This hour was going to seem like days. It always did when he was bored and alone.
Raz headed home to shower and change into his own clothes. He still kept the hoodie on though since it was comfortable and warm. He fixed his hair and put on one of his favorite flower crowns, a blue one with fake gold foliage. He went out to by a few things for the apartment before returning to Jays house after a few hours "alright, sorry that took so long, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find dark hot chocolate!"
Jay was still on the couch but he now had a laptop sitting with him and he was typing quickly. He waved him off once he entered. "Shh, you'll ruin my train of thought. I've been having writer's block with this story for two weeks."
Raz laughed softly and raised his hands in innocence "sorry, sorry, Imma make some hot coco while you write." He snuck away to the kitchen and started to boil a small pot of milk with cinnamon
