Ann smiled awkwardly back when Peter called, “You all right there lass? Do we need to call anyone?”

She glances back to the two males shaking her head quickly. “No no no. Just someone looking for lost property.” Ann returns her attention to the woman. “Try not to lose things in this neighborhood. The patrol of police is high and they arrest anyone odd with no reason at all. It’s a dreadful thing to watch so take care, yeah?”

@Spider-man

Cat smiled wider. ”oh don't worry in always careful but do I really look did to you?” she asked tilting her head.

@clovxrblossxm

Ann laughs very quiet still a bit shy around the stranger before considering her question. There was plenty of ways to answer it but the girl didn’t want to cause offense. From the way the stranger dressed to the way she talked, was so out of place in this British town. But Ann stayed quiet as she chose her words carefully. “I mean no offense, but this is not your house and you certainly don’t dress like you own it.” She pauses and almost visibly flinch at her own sentence. “I mean… I mean I haven’t seen anyone quite like you around here before. I… I don’t know what I am saying anymore.” Ann sort of just trails off after her statement after seeing it wasn’t improving her answer.

@Spider-man

Cat held back a laugh and leaned on the dense slightly. ”don't worry hun you're not wrong. I sometimes work for the house down the street. When they need gardening done.” she easily lied.

@clovxrblossxm

Ann looks confused for a split second. She never remembered the neighbor across the street having a woman garden for them. Then again some things could have gone unnoticed by her. Maybe she just needed to pay attention more. “Right… of course.”

@Spider-man

She looked the woman up and down. “Anyway. Do you have any yard work? I’m always open to helping a pretty lady,” she said taking her weight off the fence. She had worked for a few people in this neighborhood. She also stole from said people but she doubted they even noticed.

@clovxrblossxm

Ann got a flustered from being called a pretty lady. It didn’t happen often and when it did, it didn’t usually come from an attractive stranger. She stuttered out some unintelligent sounds before trying to pull herself together. “Oh no… oh no, all gardening projects I don’t want to myself, I force my friends to do.”

@Spider-man

“Too bad I’m pretty good at my job,” she said stepping back and straightening her shirt. “If you change your mind let me know if you see me around again,” she said emphasizing the if.

@clovxrblossxm

Ann nodded slightly a bit confused by the emphasis. To be honest her mind is still spinning in circles trying to find the right words to say to the pretty stranger. “Right. If. Doesn’t sound ominous at all.”

@Spider-man

“I don’t like staying in one place,” she said smiling still. “I do hope I see you around though ms…” she said trailing off slightly hoping to get a name.

@clovxrblossxm

Ann let’s out an airy laugh. “Of course. You don’t seem like the type to sit still.” She trails off and takes a few steps back to her house. She didn’t know if that was the end of the conversation or if their was more to say. But she perked up when the woman in front of her made an indication for Ann’s name. “Miss James. Miss Ann James. Just your local pet sitter.” She answers with a small curtsy.

@Spider-man

“Well it was nice to meet you Miss Ann James,” she said with a half bow. She straightened herself.

@clovxrblossxm

Ann almost laughed again but managed to contain herself just in time. Laughing with a stranger was not her and she got suddenly very aware of her friends staring at her from the porch. Were they judging or were they just waiting to tease her? The lady did not know and wanted to draw out her time until she did. "Well you have a nice day and make sure to care of yourself Miss…" Now it was her turn to ask for the stranger's name.

@Spider-man

Cat takes slightly. “Sorry can’t tell you my name. Then I won’t be…what was the word you used? Oh yeah I wouldn’t be ominous anymore,” she joked already starting to walk away.

@clovxrblossxm

Ann had to laugh that time. The pretty stanger definitely knew how to leave an impression and she didn't even get a name. It was unfortunate as deep down maybe the lady was hoping to see the stranger again. No matter how peculiar she is to the area. Ann shakes her head and jokes back, "Way to throw my words back in my face. I almost regret saying them."

@Spider-man

Cat gave her an exaggerated bow before turning away. She just kept smirking as she walked away. She was definitely going to stop by again. She loved making rich girls blush. Especially when the rich girl was as cute as Ann.

@clovxrblossxm

Ann gave another small curtsy as the stranger bowed. She then gave a smal wave in farewell before retreating to her porch. This is where she received the reactions she expected. Tony was smirking up at her from the bench swing while Peter had an uncertain look and was leaning next to her door. “Don’t give that look.”

@Spider-man

Cat walked away. She walked back to the more denser part of the city. She thought about going back to Ann’s house the next day but decided to wait a little longer. She wondered around the park again a few days later.

@clovxrblossxm

"What look? Who said I had a look?" Peter asked with an offended tone. All Ann could do was laugh as she was technically not talking to either of them.

"Not talking to just you, but I guess we are going there. What's with the uncertainty." She teased as she waited for the Scottish man to gather his thoughts.

"That stranger doesn't work at the house a cross the street." He paused. "I think."

"You think…?"

"I know!"

@Spider-man

Cat was sitting on a bench think about the talk with the rich woman she had a little while ago when two people she recognized walks over. A girl and a boy her age. She roles her eyes. They where always annoying.

@clovxrblossxm

"How did you get from think to know in the span of a few seconds? That's absurd, you know that?"

"Not as absurd as you flirting with a stran-"

"FLIRTING?!"

Before the two can continue the petty argument, a laugh cut them off. Both turn to see the oldest of the group trying hes best to stay up right.

"You good there Tony?" Ann asks with a small laugh of her own. What can she say, Tony's laugh was infectious. The man raised a tan hand in confirmation that he was okay before trying to clam down.

"It was just funny seeing the littlest thing setting you two off."

"I wouldn't say little…" Peter began before realizing he had no defense.

@Spider-man

The two new people where named jack and Jill or at least that’s the name they gave Cat. They sat down and started telling her a plan for a robbery.

@clovxrblossxm

Tony just shakes his head and puts his hand up for silence. "Why are you so riled up about the little lady talking the stranger. By the looks of things she is Ann's type."

"M-my type?!" She asked alarmed and her cheeks were turning red. "I don't think I have a type."

Tony just ignored her and gave a pointed look to Peter for him to answer. "I-I don't know. I just pretty sure I have seen her arou-"

"She said she sometimes works in the garden for the neighbor." Ann said.

"No! I mean like in the market, maybe stealing or at least people she seemed to be friendly with. I don't know."

@Spider-man

Cat declined their offer to team up.
“I work alone. Means less people to split with,” she reminded them. The only person she’d ever work or more like for is her brother.
“Your loss kitty. We got to get going but it was nice seeing ya,” Jill said standing up. Cat scrunched up her nose at the nickname.

@clovxrblossxm

Ann raise a single eyebrow not knowing if to believe him. Of course she knew Peter wouldn't lie to her but that doesn't mean he could get confused. It happened a lot and had caused conflict once before, but she was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. "Fine. Say your right, there isn't any guarantee I will see her again. So maybe we should just drop it."

"Sorry lass, but we both know you were going to look for her."

"Maybe but if it makes you feel better I will just let it be. If we meet again then we meet again and if we don't then that's a lost." Once Ann finished, Peter looked like he was going to argue but didn't open his mouth to do so. Ann took this as a truce and changes the subject. "Now, do either of you want tea?"

@Spider-man

Her friends left her shortly after their discussion. She laid on the bench slightly bored. He legs crossed. She took out a small book in a different language and started reading. Her mind kept going back to the rich girl Ann. She wondered if she should try talking to her again. if she could get her to hire her she could probably snatch a few things.

@clovxrblossxm

Tony nods and jumps up from her porch swing with a grin. "Finally a good idea from either of you. Now I'm going to leave for the tea and hop you follow without argument." Before either Peter or Ann could argue, he disappeared into the house.

"Do you have liquor?" Asks Peter as he and Ann walk after the middle age man. All she could do was roll her eyes and shake her head.

"No. But I have wine and scotch."

"Prefect."

@Spider-man

(Time skip?)

@clovxrblossxm

(Definitely. I’m running out of dialogue.)

@Spider-man

(Nice same)
Two days later Cat is walking in Ann’s neighborhood again. This time not running from the cops. She sees Ann’s house up ahead and hoped to see her outside. She got closer finally making it to the fence. She looked over it.
