Ann was sitting on her porch swing again just rocking back and forth. This time she had a book and tea with her instead of waiting to get ready for work. It was her day off and it was always bittersweet to her. On one hand she didn’t have to work or do any real physical activity. On the other no animals. And boy does she love animals. She was the neighborhood sitter after all and everyone knows she will take real good care of their pets while they’re off doing whatever pleases them that day.

After a few more pages, she got the weird feeling of being stared at. Thinking maybe it was just her imagination, Ann looks around to calm her mind. But she was right. In front of her fence was the pretty stranger of two days before. A small smile made its way to her face. “Hello stranger.” She calls.

Cat smiled leaning on the fence like she did the other day. “Hello Ann,” she called back. “What are you doing today?” She was smiling wide glancing around at the yard and then looking back at Ann.

Ann scrunches up her nose at the sound of her name. Of course she remembered the pretty stranger knew her name but that didn't stop her from hating the fact that she doesn't know the girl's name. "Not much. Its my day off actually. Why? Is there something you need me for?" She asks with a half smile. Even if she didn't know the strangers name it doesn't mean she can't have fun. Although she did catch the sweeping look the stranger gave to her yard and stored that nugget of info in the back of her mind for later.

"Not really. Just in the neighboorhood and decided to stop by," She said tilting her head. "Told you I'd see you around." She tapped her hand on the fence lightly. She crossed her legs where she stood.

Ann smiles kindly at her. She was secretly hoping to see the pretty stranger again soon even thought she promised to not seek her out. Ann takes a moment for the silence to linger before breaking it. "Well it is very nice to see you again. I may or may not have been anticipating this moment. Would you like to come in and have something to drink?" It was a simple offer but it is not one she would make to strangers often. But she had a feeling she could trust this stranger and if she was wrong then there will be hell to pay.

“I’d love too,” Cat said smiling. She walked along the fence to the gate. ”I guess I should at least tell you my name?” her smile widened and she tilted her head. ”that way you're not inviting a complete stranger in your house.” she smirked slightly.

Ann smiles widely feeling way more excited then she expected. This was a step closer to learning more about the pretty stranger. All she could hope for is that she doesn't put her foot in her mouth. Once the stranger mentioned giving her name, Ann's smile widen. But then she gave a small shake of her head while telling herself to get a grip. "Yeah, I wouldn't mind getting the answer to the mystery that plauge me for the last two days; what is the name of the pretty stranger." She says back trying to sound smooth but probably failing.

Cat tried to stop her smirk from growing at the name. “Aww how am I supposed to tell you my name when you already came up with such a cute nickname,” she said walking to the gate. She was debating on telling her real name or not. “My names Cat.”
