Mermaid/romance rp thing one on one

"Hey!" He stood up and dove into the water next to her. "How are you?"

Moxiey giggled. "Wonderful!" she exclaimed happily.

"So tell me about your..well everything. I've never met a mermaid before." He said said laughing.

"Um… well, I was born when Kayla Vale died. Mermaids are born when someone who loves the ocean dearly dies. And Kayla did love the ocean. Uh, I love collecting things that humans abandon in the sea. I have an entire hidden cove full of treasures!" she boasted. "Hmm… let's see… What else do you want to know?"

Grayson stared at her, fascinated. “How old are you?”

"Age doesn't really matter to most of my people, but I'm 18," she answered fondly.

"Ah. Me too." He grinned.

Moxiey smiled and tilted her head to the side. "What a coincidence!"

"It could be fate that brought us together." He said, swimming a little, his feet brushing the soft sand.

"I like that idea," she murmured, staring up at the sky. Her hair swirled gracefully around her face and her tail floated lazily behind her.

Grayson dipped under the water and came back up in a second. He shook his hair around, water flying everywhere.

Moxiey flinched away and laughed as the drops splattered across her face. "Grayson!"

“Whaatttt??” Grayson laughed, splashing her more.

"Oh you are gonna pay for that." He said, wiping the water out of his eyes and tackling her.

"Ah!" Moxiey cried as they fell beneath the surface. She pushed him back, not so forcefully, but that he came out of the water and she stayed under.

Grayson came up laughing and pulled Moxiey up with him, his arms wrapped around her back.

Moxiey's face turned into a rosy glow when she saw how close they were. She looked at his eyes, her own eyes sparkling with joy.
