MERMAIDS!!! 🧜♀️🧜♀️🧜♀️ // One-On-One // CLOSED
(alright! It's okay I totally understand, I just wanted to make sure you hadn't forgotten :) )
Name: Tyler Myrenia
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay af
Appearance: Tyler has wild black hair that swims around his head in water. His eyes are such a dark brown that they appear black, and his eyebrows are thick black. His skin is a pale tan, and he has a defined jaw. He also has the tattoo from the tail picture.
Tail appearance: It’s honestly just easier to show you
Style: Tyler tries not to wear tops as much, as they are uncomfortable for him. But when he has to, he wears a simple yellow vest.
Personality: Tyler is kind and generous. He has a free-spirit and is always helpful.
Likes: Water, swimming, his sister
Dislikes: The surface, his parent’s rules
Background: Being a noble, Tyler was always going to be in the public eye. This is a fact that he hates, and he tries to stay out of it as much as he can. Unfortunately, it isn’t always that way, as people often recognise and follow him when he goes out. He doesn’t necessarily wish he hadn’t been born noble, but he definitely wishes that people would leave him alone.
Power/s: He can control water to a certain extent.
Other:
"I'm going for a swim Mum!" Tyler yelled, moving quickly. His mum didn't really like him going out without her permission: she always thought that he was hooking up with girls.
"Don't you dare! Tyler! Tyler!" His mother's voice rang out after him as he swam away, smiling.
(i like him!)
Caspian was at the outskirts of town, gathering some plants. He had a small dagger tucked at his belt, and he hummed softly as he worked.
(thanks! He's a bit of an older character that I changed around a bit)
One good thing about Tyler was that he was a fast and strong swimmer. This came in handy when people were crowding him, as he simply flit between them. That was what he was doing now.
(np! Oh ok)
Caspian kept working, putting the plants into compartments on his belt, whistling between his teeth now.
Tyler turned around and started to swim backwards, watching as the kingdom got smaller and smaller. He didn't pay attention to his surroundings, and he quickly bumped into something. Or rather, someone.
Caspian yelped, turning around as he felt someone bump into one. His silvery tail flashed, and he looked down at the male who had bumped into him.
Tyler turned around quickly, his white and yellow tail shimmering in the sunlight that streamed through the water. "I'm so sorry."
"It's fine." Caspian said, waiting for the inevitable accusation of "magician", and then the other male to swim away as fast as his tail could carry him.
He looked around. "Are you collecting herbs or something? I thought only harvesters did that."
Caspian laughed softly. "Yeah, and no. Harvesters aren't the only ones."
"Well I know that harvesters are the only people that do in the kingdom," He laughed a little. Tyler seemed completely oblivious to who this fellow merman was.
"No, they aren't." Caspian said calmly. How sheltered was this guy, anyway?
"My parents say I should watch out for some guy around the outskirts, say he's some murderer or something. But, I don't know what he looks like and I don't care. I hate my parents and I'll go against them at the chance." He had no idea that he was talking to this 'murderer'.
Caspian coughed to hide another bout of laughter. "You live a very sheltered life, don't you?" He asked, glancing over at the other with barely disguised amusement in his features.
"Um, no? I just don't pay attention to my parents. They're always telling me what to do, and I don't like that. So I sneak out and swim on my own. I barely spend any time in the kingdom."
Caspian shook his head. "Yikes." He said with a soft laugh. "You really should, or you'll run into suspected murderers." He looked away. There. Maybe now this person would get it.
"Oh, please. I can handle myself." As if to prove his point, he caught the stranger in a water whirlpool. Then he let him go.
Caspian laughed again, shaking his head. "I have faced worse than you." He replied. He almost wanted to demonstrate his own power, and terrify this guy, but… it wasn't worth it.
"Like what?" Tyler fired back. "A shark? A jellyfish? A fucking dolphin? Sorry, but I find that hard to believe."
Caspian flicked his tail up to show the scarring. "No, like fucking magically enhanced sharks." He replied. He pulled out his dagger, and sliced open his pal, murmuring under his breath. His blood bloomed up, and his eyes flashed white as a shroud of darkness spread around them. After a moment, e released the spell, ad his eyes faded back to their normal color. "That was a little bit of tame blood magic. Let me know if you want to see a more dangerous demonstration."
Tyler eyes sparkled. "Ooh, I would love to! That was so cool, dude! Like actually!"
Caspian closed his eyes. "I wasn't being serious. Blood magic is fucking dangerous for me, and I don't do it on a regular basis." He put the dagger away. "Anyway. I'm the one your parents wanted you to stay away from. I'm far too dangerous."
"Then you are the exact type of person that I want to be around. I hate my parents. I would do anything to annoy the fuck out of them. You're the way I can do it."
Caspian pinched the bridge of his nose. "Damn it." He muttered. He looked at the other male tiredly. "Look, I don't know who you are, but you should leave. I am not some…adventure, something to use to annoy your parents. I am a living, breathing thing, and the most dangerous person you could possibly be near." He said, crossing his arms.
"Tyler of the Myrenia family, at your service," Tyler said, bowing slightly as a bit of a joke. "Look, I don't think you understand. I need a little danger in my life."
Caspian shook his head. "Caspian." He replied. "And no, i understand perfectly. You're a spoiled, sheltered brat who thinks the entire world is a party. You know nothing of the real ocean, and nothing about danger. You think you need it?" He shook his head. "Go home, Tyler Myrenia. Go home to your cushy little life in the city."
Tyler took a deep breath, something his sister had taught him. "Look. Put up with me for one day… And then I'll leave. You'll never have to see me again, I just want to do this. Please."
